Not sure of a good place in the 'Dorf. But I'll tell you it's well worth the drive to go down to Street Trenz in Lexington Park. It's about 40 miles or so, but the owner is a fellow dubber and knows what he's doing. Ask for Dave.

i recommend total eclipse in waldorf. they have been there over 15yrs and give a lifetime warranty as long as you keep paperwork in your glove box. i both my brothers and I have gone there and been very satisfied.

tailights? did they use a film or did they do a spray treatment? I didn't know tint shops were offering that kind of service these days.

yea they will tint tails but its really easier to order the laminex film precuts ones... they install in 5 minutes NO HEAT GUN, and prevent lense shattering....

the regular tint is alot thinner than the laminex and tend to wrinkle once into the REAL SUMMER... it also doesnt respond to weather very well.

that can all be solved by tinting your tail lights the correct way

i mean the laminex way technically is the correct way if you want to PROTECT and tint the lights @ the same time.

yes and no the only way laminex will install in 5 minutes is if you have flat light's to do it the proper way you have to use a heat gun to mold the laminex to the light itself not recommended for your average joe

ps if anybody puts window tint on there taillights or headlights they are ****ing morons and should be shot and there is really no correct way to do it spray or laminex is your best bet

Oh, and our very own Brian Page (vwleadfoot) had a photo published tonight that he took of the insane fire in Solomons this evening...

    http://www.thebaynet.com/news/...13048

I was at Cove Point park playing basketball when the smoke started to roll in from the fire and damn near choked us out while we were playing. Drove over the bridge tonight just to see where the smoke was coming from and the sucker was still on fire at 8pm when I went over. I know there is a fuel line that runs the length of the pier to fuel the huge Navy research vessels that dock there and it sure looked like that was what was fueling the fire. Pretty crazy.

    it looks stupid.

i can honestly 100 percent say that i have not yet seen a tail light that was done with laminex that actually looked good or right. IMO it looks cheezy and cheap.
