You should talk to Stratmosphere for the specs on that particular valve.

hey that N75H valve what does it do???

its a unit called boost controller solenoid...

what does it do and where did you get it???
      And does it work?

    13. 01-04-2006 02:43 PM #13
Spikes alittle more boost. Some of these n75 valve can cause overboost which will result in the car going to limp mode. It does work well with my chip. You can get the valve in any audi dealership...

I'd stick with the oem N75 C valve. Tuners refine their software around the N75 C valve.

I have used both the hyperboost and forge 007 DV. Both are good, but I like the forge better since you can change spring settings for how much boost you're running.

    15. 01-05-2006 03:22 AM #15
ooohh......so your saying it'll mess with the programing?

How easy is it to install the DV yourself???

    16. 01-05-2006 09:40 AM #16
      1. Drive the car on the ramp or life
      2. unbolt like 14 bolts underneath the skip plate
      3. cut off the clamps that are connected to the dv(3 hoses that connect)

did ya get one yet? i got a 007 forge its just a replacement part, real easy to install. hold boost a bit longer than the stock plastic dv. good buy

    19. 01-05-2006 05:46 PM #19
No, but you could have the potential to spike too high and go into limp mode. The HP gains going to a higher spiking N75 will be minimum unless your software is programmed for it. Something everyone needs to be clear about is more boost does not always mean more HP/TQ.

Both are quality DVs so either are great, but I would suggest you buy from an American company, screw the UK were in a recession!

You drive a german car and you're suggesting buying American 1 thing the U.S. can't do is build a quality car by quality I mean having properly fitting panels or parts.

I bought a 007 and install it it was too quiet so I install it “backwards” and the pshh is the same, the only difference is that I can hear kind of like a “plink” sound together with the pshh… is that normal???

there is a reason why there is a correct way to install the valve and a backwards way. There is more noise if you drive down the freeway backwards too. Aka people honking at your stoopid ass. That is what the valve is doing to you . HONKING!
