Thread: Need VR6 engine with turbo kit!

    1. 01-10-2006 06:48 PM #1
Anybody selling or know where to get. If you can please send the specs. I also need back brakes. Hard to find.

I know I can get a turbokit from

      http://www.turbo-kits.com/golf_III_turbo_kits.html

But not sure if this is the best one to get. I also need to change my lights in the front dash. Im getting tired of the ugly green colour. And it seems no one sells them in blue.

If you can let me know that will be great.

      Thx, Peace.

Are you looking for a VR6 turbo kit? If so, looks to me like the link you provided above is for an 8v

That arrangement of turbos, wastegates, and welded stainless is oddly fallopian.

ESS currently has a turbo VR6 they're parting out.. it was a strong motor with a strong, long-lasting setup. The car was very well known, and the motor/drivetrain and turbo set up is still in the car, running, complete, waiting for a buyer.

Not trying to be an ESS fanboy but, they do have one sitting there and someone is asking about a VR turbo setup so there we have it

This one is a 3.5L factory quad-turbo... i'm sure it'll fit with a little persuasion.

I wonder what a VR6 Trb with 300 hp would do at the 1/4 mile track. Anybody have any idea? High 13's or no?

No bags, but is does have a 4.2 V8 TVR engine and is RWD, not to mention the car has been widened just over 7 inches.
