I would get them if they also offered AM... I listen to alot of sports radio on AM stations.

I downloaded the newest updater and installed it. I haven't used it yet. I am using it on a Nano. I have seen an article talking about how this my mess up features on the 5G. Can anyone confirm or deny that.

Having just 1 thread sucks. Its like making the Car Lounge ONLY have 1 thread for VW talk and 1 thread for Audi, etc... it's a goddamn forum, the mods here REALLY need to calm down. Just voicing my opinion.

I have a problem, maybe someone has a solution?

Here's the rundown:

I have Mac and an iPod, works great.
At work, I have a Mac (with iTunes).
I bring my ipod, hook it up with the USB. The computer AND iTunes can see the iPod, BUT, all of the songs are greyed-out, so I can't access them to listen to them.

Does this make sense? is there some button I need to push?

I know this is possible (my co-worker is using his iPod with his work Mac right now).

historically, how much time goes by between the release of iPod generations? I'm just wondering, because I don't have one and bought my g/f a video iPod for christmas, and I'm considering getting one. Just wondering when the next generation should be coming out, based on the past. Thanks.

Question:
I just got a 1st gen Ipod, problem is I didn't realize that it didn't run on usb, so whats a guy to do with an Ipod, windows and no firewire. Next, after a trip to staples is there anything else that I'll need, don't want any more surprises.

edit: don't worry I had firewire, that s*** is damn fast I'm impressed

Anyone have recommendations for cases, screen protectors, and scratch remover for an Ipod Video? Even if I just think about my ipod it gets scratched. Black 30 G.

Get the agent 18 case. It rocks. ...and you dont have to take it off to dock the Ipod.

Also, if you work out, I'd pick up the Xtrememac Sportswrap...its nothing special, but it stretches just enough so the Ipod with a Agent 18 case on it, can fit into it....that way you dont have to keep switching cases. You do have to cut a small hole in the wrap for headphone access but its easy to do. I bough them both from the apple store.

Next question for you guys...

What FM car broadcaster should I go with? I'd prefer one available in black to match my Ipod and my car interior.

Thanks for the info. I got the black 30G video, and used a clean hand towel to try and clean it up a bit. Now I have hairline scratches on the display, not really noticeable unless in direct light. Is there a type of scratch removing compound available that will get rid of these? Since the towel incident I have been using the little cleaning cloth that came with my sunglasses, that seems to work without scratching it.

hey wade! got an urgent question for you or anyone else that may be of assistance. i lent my mom my iPod Vid 60G. she is currently out of the country and is awaiting my call for the answer. the question:

i got her the universal adapter to connect her camera directly to the iPod so she could dump her photos.

she was able to do this just fine until this past week. she is now getting the following error:

""An error occurred while importing""

also, she is unable to view photos anymore ( she was able to before )

unfortunately, i cannot recall any detailed information about the other devices ( camera, card reader, etc. ) but i can get the info, if that would help. I've tried finding the answer via google/ ipodlounge/ etc. to no avail. your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know of a case for the iPod nano that works with the nano dock connector? preferably one that protects the screen too?
