Also nobody can say the Yanks will be undercoached this year. What do they have 3 or 4 head coaches?

Hahaha...they should rotate, or have a Chinese fire drill during the 7th inning stretch.

      Ok...the deal is set.

      Me and Methalius.

      Chacon 12.5 wins in 2006

He took the under, I took the over.

The Stakes: Sig Bet...the winner gets to pick the sig of their choosing for loser...and the loser will sport that sig for the length of the offseason.

      Go Yankees!

As long as he is healthy that shouldn't be a problem

I sure hope they play like an All Star team.

Remus has shared his AL East prediction...

      Sox
      O's
      Yanks

I think the most improved team this offseason is the Jays.

Hey guys, Yanks fan here. This will be my first year with season tics and hoping that all will be good . I was really disappointed with Pavano last season, and I really wanted him in the rotation I just hope he lives up to my expectations this season. And I think RJ will do alot better during his 2nd season in pinstripes. I loved seeing Tino back and I hope he'll play some roll for one more year, but prolly not likely if Giambi stays healthy*crosses fingers*

BUT, I'm really disappointed with the signing of Damon, yea he's a great lead off guy, but his defense sucks, and I don't feel he the best long-term replacement to Bernie.

But the lineup will be unbelievable this year, I cant wait!!!

Yea I know they did'nt pick up his option, but I still would like to see him on the team for one more season. I'm just having a hard time letting go of the old team.

I hear ya, but he won't be back. They will use Giambi [lefty] and Andy Philips [righty] as their back up.

      Thats dedication right there, folks.

He may have just knocked G60 out of the "#1 RI Yankee Fan" spot.

G60 is leading the resistance. You guys should start a support group.

We already signed a backup who can do just as good a job as Flats. No need for a hack behind the dish or another DH.

move pizza to backup position and that other dude as a bullpen catcher, point being each team needs 3 catchers min.

Who were the Sox 3 catchers last year??

The Yankees only had Posada and Flats for the last 2 or 3 years.

      Most teams only carry 2.

We had Mirabelli, Tek, and Shoppach up and down during the season. When I say 3 I mean 2 + 1 bullpen

I drove from Virginia to Boston (I'm from upstate NY) with no tickets to see the Sox play the Yands in the ALCS in 2004. Bought tickets and saw the Oakland series games and 2 of the Yankee series games including the Pedro-Zimmer game. What a time.

The bullpen catcher isn't on the 25 man roster.

The Sox only had 3 available catchers for a game after September call ups. Then most teams go from 2 to 3 catchers.

RJ doesn't like throwing to Posada so thats the day he is given off. Could you imagine how much RJ would hate pitching to Piazza?

      Small completes arbitration.

He gets 1.2 million next year.

Now, Chacon is the only one left.

Yes! Here It is. I can't freakin wait. I'm gonna try and top my 12 game attendance record I set last year.

Who knows what Small will do, but whatever happens no will forget what he did last year.

Anyone else favoring Chacon over Pavano in the rotation?
