the bills stay at the western like most teams that play the pats at home..providence is closer to the stadium than boston is
i told him i hate the pats lol and showed him my yankees tattoo on my arm...then i said he was sick in the super bowl and i love his show
i even bought his stupid weight bands..yeah i hate football but i am a huge Owens fan
a strange night it was
there was obviously other bills players walking around the mall but i couldnt recognize anyone else

Congrats to Jeter. It's great to see such an achievement without the slightest cloud of steroids or controversy.
He's also got more hits than Pete Rose had at the same age...who knows...

It was nice to see him get this... and the day it happened on was equally important.
Now... the march to the playoffs. Matchups are looking more and more set by the day.
I was happy to see a win in person yesterday... can someone break down for me what happened with the Arod ejection? It was tough to tell what the hell was going on at the game.

Got called out on a low and outside strike. Didn't agree. Told the ump so, Girardi came out, both got the boot.

The biggest statement they could make is if they allowed Joba to pitch like any other normal
pitcher. F those Joba rules

Nice to get a W tonight, that should get the confidence up.
I'm still surprised they took Joba out so early, he seemed to have good ball control, could of easily stayed another 2 innings. What did he end up with, 70 pitches at most?

Seems like every time I put my son in front of the TV to watch the game, they pull off a win. Tied 3-3 when we walked in the house and put the TV on……..Tex gets the GRD, then gets lifted for Gardner who steals 3rd and makes it home on the throwing error.
Love it!

they dont care how hes pitching. hes on a pitch/innings count until the playoffs start to keep his innings total down. he could have a perfect game going and they'll take him out when he reaches whatever limit they have set.

Lets hope after this season... they let him pitch like a normal pitcher from here on out.
Like I said... that is a statement game. Hughes was a little shaky... but... as usual, this team doenst like to lose if they are tied or ahead after the 7th inning.
Only 12???
Wow
Jays tonight and tomorrow... then the last major road trip of 2009. I cant believe the season is almost over.

12 is the magic number, not how many games are left.
It'll be cool because then Joe G can rest a bunch of the players and bring in some rookies to get a taste.

well if he was a starter all of last year and the year before instead of being made into a reliever, this situation would be avoided.

Not really.

2 years ago after 1 year removed from college he blew through the minors, and was already near his innings max before he ever got to NY.
Last year he got hurt and missed about 30 or so innings in the month he was out. Which directly effects him this year.
He is 23 and never spent a full year in the minors. IMO you can fault the Yankees for not stretching him out and leaving him there for a couple years. But you can't fault them for limiting him now.

Thanks for clarifying! I thought it was only based on a pitch count and ball control during the count.

Yea but how long is a college season?
I think he played 2 years and maxed 100 or so innings in one of those years.
And again he only played a half year in the minors.
Think about it 2.5 years before you saw him dominating that 8th inning spot he was in highschool.
Just checked and in 2 years of college he pitched 32 games just under 200 innings
