Thread: Official Howard Stern Thread (Fans Only)

The girl said it hurts more for guys than girls...I guess it's true bc I'd rather get a brazilian wax than get blood drawn or a shot any day

Ahh ic, the ball thing has really taken off. On O&A a while back they did that, then put them in moustraps, then a contraption full of bees! It seems like balls are the target of radio everywhere!

He got a brazilian wax... it isn't a "ball thing." But of course the O&A fans have to make it that way.

I dunno what's worse, brazillian wax, or ball bag wax, 7 mousetraps and a bees nest. Plus dunking in hot water..

Either way, these shows are ****ing awesome!!!

The shows since he moved to Sirius have all been really good, I'm actually surprised at how little he complains about terrestrial radio.

You know if it was the other way around, Howard and his fans would be calling O&A clones. Just pointing out the hipocrisy. O&A did a bit with basically the same premise before Stern. I guess that means someone other than Howard can produce creative radio too.

I don't give a flying f*** who did it first. I don't listen to O&A so this was new to me and why do you care? I don't think I ever said no one else can make creative radio...have you heard the Bubba show? Or the other programming Howard puts out, its not just HIS show but its his channels that make it so great.

I love the sound effects Fred plays of Richard screaming in pain..lol. Some of them are just hilarious.....

Oh and I haven't seen a post about he Valentina's Day on Howard....with her riding the sybian....my God!

How is that begging for attention? Just pointing out that FACT that Stern's bit was remarkably similar to something someone already did...and the hipocrisy of claiming the rights to every radio concept EVER and then doing that. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it was different enough and made for good radio. I think he needs to back off of the "clone" remarks nowadays though. There are other good shows out there that produce creative material.

Why hasn't Stern taken credit for the Vaginaaaaah bits? That was his daughter right?

I have a question to Stern fans...

Is it true that Stern will be taking Fridays off and only broadcasting 4 days a week?

Also, is it true that Sirius will be censoring?

Since his move to Sirius I have not heard one peep out of Howard regarding his contemporaries. He only talks about Bubba, that Ferrel guy, oh he did have Dee Snider on too, and of course the FCC. Personally, I have never heard Howard talk about O&A. But I don't normally listen to the entire show so I may have missed it.

I just don't care who did what first. Why do so many O&A fans care? Howard has an ego bigger than anyone, I know that, but I don't care. He consistently entertains me and thats all that matters.

As a car forum, you must know how annoying it is when all those Jetta vs. Corolla threads come up. So how about we quit this stupid s***?

Originally Stern was going to take Friday's off, since he has a huge amount of vacation time but then he changed his mind and will not take EVERY Friday off.

No truth in that, no censoring.

I dont care. Most O&A fans dont care. My point was that most Stern fans will be the first to deny credibility to any other radio show based on Stern being the "first" shock jock. He was the pioneer, that cannot be argued, but saying that everyone who has followed is simply a hack recreating Stern's show and Stern's ideas is total bull****. He's taken ideas from other people just as other people have taken ideas from him. That was my point...or maybe it was just me crying for attention again.

Actually, his rebuttal was damn funny.

You seriously need a life, this thread, ONCE AGAIN, is to talk about Sterns show. We don't give a shit if O&A supposedly did a bit first, nor do we care if O&A do ANYTHING. We listen to Stern because that is what we enjoy, we don't bash O&A because we DON'T CARE ENOUGH TO LISTEN TO THEM. You are the one that listens to both shows and constantly bashes Howard, you say you don't care but you obviously do since you can't keep your O&A comments in the O&A thread.

WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH O&A did a bit about balls first WAHHHHHHHHHHHH

I need a life because I brought up the FACT that Stern's ball waxing bit was old news and a hack move? BTW, one of the Stern fans in here brought up O&A fans, ect...not me. I felt compelled to reply.

This is Stern related, so I posted it in the Stern thread.

    I guess paying Oprah $15K/minute for 3 years wasn't a good idea.

Oprah will be on 30 minutes a week.
