^ yea but I think it sort of screws up the idea of customizing when someone practically builds a new one, I'd much rather take part in a competition where your supposed to keep the original form and just customize it

i agree. it kinda feels like you could have just made your own munny from super sculpty and submitted that. hell, it probably would have even won.

My curiosity is piqued, I have had the Graffiti World book since it was released... would you mind just dropping a page number, I'm not gonna call anyone out, I am just curious.

The Block Party was a one time event and it was completely worth it man, I really had an amazing time and met alot of cool ass people.

I am not familiar with LA Giant, if you could enlighten me it would be appreciated. I am always looking to learn.

yeah, "Giant" is a writer from LA, "Obey Giant" is not. "Giant" has been around for a while, "Obey Giant" has not. (He might have, but hes only been big in the past two years i belive)...

OBEY Giant has been big quite some time but Mike Giant gets just as much if not more respect from the scene. OBEY started late 80s if I'm not mistaken, really took off early 90s

Mike Giant has sick sick linework

Yeah, Shepard Fairey (Obey Giant) has been doing his work since '89. His messages/themes really go alot further than most graff artists. I know we all stand for something, but if you check out his work it really is good. http://www.ObeyGiant.com will give you a hell of alot of info/background on Shepard Fairey..also if you look up Obey Giant on Wikipedia.

Honestly I would only consider the bronze Pushead/KAWs collab but what they are going for is ridiculous

Did you guys not notice that it's an upside-down munny? That's pretty damn creative if you ask me.

yea i really like lots of the designs on the toys, cause im a big fan of graf, (i have some freinds who are dc/ balitmore writers). the cycle joints are hot! but i just cant spent $100-200 on a toy when my car keeps wispering "turbo" to me every time i get in it. but please keep posting pics of your colections

  33. 03-16-2006 05:06 PM #68
urban toys are just the best figurines ever made!

  34. 03-16-2006 06:29 PM #69
i'm picky on what i buy. these last two set me back quite a bit but they'll appreciate in value if I really ever need the money

next toys i'm buying is the brendan monroe sours from android8.com, they are just too sick
