Thread: Gauge lights not working (Nissan Pathfinder)

    1. 01-31-2006 03:22 PM #1
I can't seem to find a good Pathfinder board anywhere (any suggestions other than nissanforums.com?), so I'll post this here.
On occasion, the right half of my gauges do not light up at night. Just plain dark, but the speedo and gas (on the left) are fine. Then all will be fine for a week, and then repeat cycle. They do come back on sometimes halfway through the trip. Because it's intermittent and not permanent, I'm thinking relay or switch.. anyone care to throw out any ideas?

if it's anything like the 240sx cluster my guess is that the film/chip on the back of the cluster is loose, those tended to dry up and peel/roll away, losing a bit of contact here and there...pull it out and take a look.
