just curious, how long you guys been writing?
my 2 or so years of writing and i've gone no where. i've looked at so many images and watched some crazy videos. i don't want to be a 'toy' either and bite off a style. i always see how i want letters want to be in my head, but when i put it to paper, let alone going to can, it comes out like garbage. tomorrow i'll scan some of my stuff, but its really nothing great.

haha also i came across this tonight http://thewall.msn.com/?wallid=4&GT1=7773, how lame.

not to mention all that kem5 is amazing. darkdemon, did you win that nicorette thing you entered a little while ago? also could you post up some of your work, i've seen it here and there when you would post and would like to see some more

It definitely shows. 3d styles are off the hook! Oh, and Kems is so sick, him and Geser. I dig those guys' stuff alot. I think Kems has done some stuff up here in the NorthWest before.

I never understood tagging? Can someone fill me in.

I know that gangs use tag's to claim territory. When someone tags over it or crosses it out and tags there name it means there looking to kill that person.

This seems different though. This seems more of an artistic approach to tagging.

A few more questions: I'm guessing this is illegal, so aren't you all stressed about an investigation into this?

Why aren't there constucted tagging area's? Like museums?

For all I know DarkDemon could be Kem5 right?
cuz there just nicknames to conceal the identity?

hahahaa you just come from the 1892 time portal?
in all seriousness, its their expression of life style,to some its their way of living,to others its a big part.People speed all the time on the streets, and post videos of street racing, you think they are going to hold investigations for every single thing they see ?There are wars going on ,and people getting killed,im sure the police and the law has other things to do than mess with some artists who like to throw up their style. And yes there are certain "areas" like art centers, certain public walls, buildings, museums, where graffitt artists, people who make murals and piece stuff up.It is an art form. Its not some vato locos gang scribbling their gang name on some corner street light, waiting to see some rival gang to cross it out, there are that type of graffitti gangs, but these arent the types that come online and talk like human beings. Those are the punks you see,you are thinking of.These people on these boards are good people who are artists.(the majority of them )
