Thread: Graf heads

There is some really great work here! Really inspiring stuff actually, I might even give this a try sometime soon. For the people doing it on paper/canvas, would markers/materials do you use?

    i like prismacolor markers.
    they are pretty runny.
takes a minute to get a grip on em.

So, as I said I would do, I tried my hand at some "graphitti". Well, I have no real artistic background unless you count the few art classes I took in high school as bird courses. I just used materials I found laying around the house; cheap coloured pencils, some Staedtler markers for labeling CDs, highlighters, normal printer paper, and a black ball point pen. Not exactly the greatest stuff, but I didn't whanna go shopping just to try something out once. Its all pretty basic stuff, but even so I got a bit more carried away then I thought I would and ended up filling a page and spending about 3 and a half hours on this thing. My favourite part is the "rabbit" lettering even though the R is really badly done in my opinion, and it looks to much like an A. I messed up with the 3D stuff in a few places, but I only noticed after it was already inked in. Overall though I had lots of fun with it and I might try again and work my way up to some more advanced stuff.

Comments? Critiscm? Gimmie a push in the right direction!

    scars an old friend.
saying that ctrl and pasers stuff looks like scar is like saying your stuff looks like daim and loomit.
    clearly a huge difference.

    stay up man.

dark demons a cool guy, just a difference of opinion.
some people say onorok was the father of that style.

  32. 07-05-2006 02:00 AM #172
nah like i said.. im sure homie would take this wrong but..

im not saying you guys are biting.. im saying that it has a similar swagger.. so if Scar is your homie then it shouldnt even be a thing.

like Kem5 is my boy so we have similar style..

no disrespect Ctrl.. Pasers stuff looks pretty cool from what ive seen.
