    This is my current project.
Month ago I bought Mk2 with poor 1.3 engine.
Three owners from new, never been in accident, only few dent and schratces,in original color...
    Good car for project

    When I bougt it:

    24V V6 in,only FWD , just for test... (made just 300km FWD)

    4motion gearbox and diff

    rallye tunnel and trunk plate

    preparing tunnel

    engine out (after 300km)

today I cut original tunnel (isn't spot welded like rallye's)

After reading the title I thought it would be a question thread. Then I laughed to myself when I saw you practically had a DIY on the swap. That's crizz. All i have to say

Great work there, good to see a fello Mk2 4x4 coming along.

The rear subframe and diff set up looks the same as what I am replacing my syncro stuff with. is it from a TT/S3 ?

Croatia is a lovely country, I was there for about 8 months

We got this thing called the chronic here in the US and your car would be qualified under that... chronic, absolutely chronic.
