Thread: DIY Saggy grille fix (Jetta/Bora)

    I had a saggy Bonrath badgeless grille, but not anymore

    Before:

    After:

    All you need to do is:

    *Remove the grille
    *Screw 1 or 2 screws (at least 32mm long) through bumper here:

    There already is 2 holes in the bumper that keeps the grille still, I drilled the screws between them. Closeup:

    Now you can adjust you grille how much it sags with 2 screws.

    When you´re satisfied with your adjustments, just put the grille back on.

    wow, saggy grill fix...nice...

    I wish i knew about this before i got rid of the grill!

    i always tought grilles sagged from hot temepratures outside, not from their own weight

    BTW, this was not my invention, I just wanted to share this. Rubber stopper works fine too
