Thread: OMG... the itching... freakin Certain Dri...!!!!!!

    1. 04-18-2006 01:20 AM #1
So I took the forum's advice and got some Certain Dri for excessive sweating... I applied it for the first time tonight before bed as the directions suggest... omg, i haven't been able to sleep. Frickin itching!!!! It says on the freakin insert that it may itch till I get used to it but holy mother of holy bananas, never thought it would be this bad. It took me 4 minutes to type this post, freakin jumpin around like a monkey

the first time i used maxim i itched like a whore with crabs

the second time i took it, it was even freaking worse....just awful. i took 2 benedryl and it calmed itself down

third time was about same as first time

then 4th time, for some reason, no itching at all

im not sure if im getting used to it or what...but ill totally take the itching if it makes me not sweat

so try some benedryl if its terrible

It will go away. I was going mad for the first week and then all of a sudden it went away. Unlike my other itches.

I'm going to have to agree. Sweating is natural, stopping this is very unnatural.

there's an area of 5-7 inch square on each armpit, which leaves about 2000+ inch square for the body to sweat.

you got that from the insert, basar

Certain Dri def. made me itch the first couple of times as well.. But like everyone else, I would rather itch my pits than walk around with huge sweat stains....

Yeah, especially from the waist down.

Wooo... I need to go to Italy sometime next year so I can gain my 3rd citizenship We found out that a relative of mine lived in Pallermo in the 1920s and was an Italian citizen. Apparently that gives me the right to Italian citizenship... weird.

Certain Dri made me itch like crazy the first few times I used it, but it went away after a few uses. Stick with it. It works.

Well, I used it for the 2nd time last night, it didn't itch. Weird Anyways, it says on the insert that I should wait 5-10 minutes before putting a shirt on, do you guys wait for it?

Unless you want severly stained pits on your shirts, yes.

There's an easy way to deal with the itching that I discovered

If it starts to itch simply apply your everyday deoderant to your arms after the Maxim/Certain Dri. Stops itching in minutes.
