I received a pm on Stanceworks back in January about doing a writeup for Air Society, but SW does not alert you to pm's, and I just noticed I had a message on Wednesday. I message the guy back saying sounds good, let me know what info you want, then the next day this is up under the previous owners name.

Thought I would cross-post this one on here from the mk4's forum as im not getting any intelligent response there rather than it will change my offset.

Ok so I just got the centers from the powder coasters. Turned out really well but I still need to strip and hopefully polish the lips. I tried mocking it up to see how it would look but noticed that the original bolts are shorter as I reversed mounted it. It used to have about 3-5mm of thread showing past the nut but now it sits just flush of the nut. Would I be good with it or should I get longer bolts? Do they come in longer lengths? Thanks a lot....btw here is a crappy pic taken from my cellphone......

you should be fine using the same bolts. my buddy reversed mounted his LMs as well and used the same bolts and they torqued fine. Did the powder coater leave the outer rim of the centres unpainted?

I guess its because when it was front mounted the holes on the face were countersunk about 2-3mm to make the outer ring of the bolts sit flush with the face. Now when i reverse mount it, the bolts sit just on the barrel where it is just flat. Dont know if you got what i mean.
