driver skill and having the right tire will have more to do with that than drivetrain configuration. make sure he buys some decent winters and explain to him what he should and shouldn't be doing. why wait til he goes in the ditch?

Honesty, it peeled right off like a heavy duty vinyl coming off of metal. One wheel took like a couple minutes. But I also had like two cans per wheel so it made it much more easier for removal.
