OK Back to discussing my interior and the slight glimpse of a MKIII dash in the first picture lol

X2 That interior is almost perfect to my taste. Love the power window option. The only thing I'd change is the shift knob (to a VW OEM) and the radio head unit, also to OEM tape deck or maybe a mid 90's old school Alpine CD player

Ill play...heres a recent pic of my mkIII swapped dash in my coupe. not a golf, but close enough (i saw a previous poster requesting pics of 'that golf with the mkIII dash') and since locating one car on the vortex would be hard i figured id throw my .2 in. hope you like

bad close up pic but you get the idea....

      Some 90's/OEM style

      Small, basic changes
-Early "black" HVAC panel, Corrado knob
      -Relocated head unit
      -Pilot gauges w/basic green illumination
-C-box, will be illuminated next time I go dash pulling

TT pedals...was the TT available in '99? If so, I guess it's period correct too.

I have two aftermarket Recaro seats in my Golf 16V. I sprayed the doorcards black and installed a Corrado rear bench with permanent armrest (which has the battery in it).

Recaro's (the driverside has electronic height regulation, had to reweld the complete seat to get that working):

The rear bench (which was given to me for free, therefore it doesn't look that great, I am still searching for the Recaro fabric but haven't found it till this very day):

      And where the battery sits:

I also installed Scirocco Mk1 rear seatbelts, they are hipbelts only.

Here's mine, it's a work in progress, I'm hoping to have it close to completed by late July with matching door cards and carpet and black leather seats:

I can of figured it, once you own a MKII you know you are getting a money pit. But how about a ballpark estimate.

Very similar here, no Votex but a Polo G40 steering wheel and a mk4 shift knob/boot:

About 350 for my recaros, the dash was free, steering wheel was a birthday gift but is being replaced cause it's a bit slippery for auto-x or any sort of racing for that matter, and whatever it cost me to buy the sheet metal for my shift tower...so not much really.
