Anybody ever run one, looks like a nice piece but I am just wondering what the quality of them are. I believe they make alot of JDM stuff.

    before someone else says it.....

there are probably other things you could better spend that money on

if it is the gains you are after, porting the exhaust manifolds are a nice and cheap option.

i have one it is pretty nice for being cheap welds look to be pretty good cant wait to install it...comes with adapter for the flange and gaskets and springbolts.
Im told its the exact same as the obx one...im not expecting any real performance gains just some bling in the bay

save yourself some money and port out your exhaust manifold instead...and put some testpipe on it....

and that makes it look better?

it doesn't, he's talking about performance gains... your header looks great, but probably does next to nothing performance wise as you have already stated

could someone explain to me how larger diameter, mandrel bends wont free up potential power? i mean the 8-12whp! isn't nearly accurate but are the oe cast short manifolds really that efficient? i'd love to see some dyno charts before i buy this or port and downpipe mine..

and to the OP, your name wouldn't relate to the PA Heathens by any chance?

Search, there are dynos everywhere of ported manis and downpipes, its good for 3-5 hp from what I hear..

If you want bling and 8-12hp for $900 get an estyles custom header..

If you want to waste $400-600 so your bay looks nice, get any old header..

Runner length was the main problem with header designs for the vr, not so much diameter. If you notice almost all aftermarket headers/downpipes are almost exactly the same diameter. Im not gonna talk out of my @ss about something I dont know so I wont get into detail. Estyles happened to find the golden formula and has been crankin them out for vortexers for a while now..

what is this Search you speak of??
if you look at the header in topic you will see the runners are staggered to compensate the different length ports. this is why i dont believe a ported cast piece is more efficient or effective.

Look inside of a cheap header flange and you'll see the large steps and you may think otherwise. A lot of turbulent air on the back side of the flange...

    who the **** cares?

im really surprised everyone sucks your dick. so glad i decided against doing business with you. the way you carry yourself on here (which is a huge, arguably the main source as to how youve unfortunately been successful) makes me wonder why anyone would do business with such an individual. cocky, know-it-all, personally attacking, and careless. why the **** would you bump a thread in the 12v forum which has ZERO talk of seats, just to attack this dude? and for what? this type of behavior does more bad than good for your reputation
