wheels are mrr wheels' an not typical sold for vw applications.Front is 20x8.5 with a 35et an rear is 20x9.5 with 38et.

what kind of airride you on?
and do the fronts go lower?
or is it tucking tire cause of the 20s.

Front are custom build air struts, rears are bags with cups an I need to upgrade my stock shocks to some konis soon!

Front is tuckin up the top of the wheel an yes its cause its on 20ies,I can actually drive it tuckin the tire (in a straight line, haha).I just want the rear to go lower, which will be done soon when I shorten the rear bag cups.O I can tuck top half of the wheel when I hit side to side haha.

I'm on Koni Shocks (yellows, adjustable dampening) and Intrax Springs... Intrax= very low, no rubbing. They are not for everyone. Ride is great (which is more a function of the shocks anyway), take it from someone with 10K miles on 'em.

what company components were used for the custom setup?
any chance of laying frame with 18s using the same kit?

Chasis tech,blitzluft,suicidedoors.com and some others.Be prepared to spend over 2500$ in parts alone an dont expect to get free labor like I did.I can drag the front with slight lift on the rear an front all the way down, rear wont come down anymore unless the cups are swapper for shorter ones.

I am running Weitec coilovers and the ride is fine with it as low as it is. I wish they were a little stiffer actually.

I'm running H&R coilovers which have a static rear height. The ride is great but I wish the rears were adjustable. I had to pull out one of the spring pads to get about 1/4 more drop and I'd like to pull out the other if I were sure it wouldn't make any noise.

The gray-one is hot, but you need the kit on the rear bumber.

H&R doesn't make a Race spring for the Passat.

Interesting they'd tell you that. I wanted to run H&R springs as longs as I've owned a Passat (my first was a 99 I got abot 5 years ago) and every time I called they always told me the same thing. The sedans had the OE Sport and the Sport springs available and the variants only had the Sport springs available. There is no OE Sport for the variant because they use the OE Sport rear and a Sport front to make the variant Sport kit. According to them the times I've called no Passat has EVER had a Race spring available.

Looks like H&R needs to get some more consistency in the information they give out.
