This will help us eliminate all the FS ads through out the forum, while still giving you the privilege of being able to sell locally to avoid those nasty shipping charges.

For sale from Spangdahlem I have an ABA OBD1 Bottom end (no oil squirters) with smooth dish OBDII pistons used eurospec berrings, mahle rings, victor reinz gaskets and seals... Mahle assembly lube..etc... Crank journal clearances were all within VW tolorance, Rebuilt high-volume oil pump Cylinders were honed, mild to avoid the need for oversize rings. and a 1.8 16v head. Head is just reconditioned, cleaned up, with 2.0L 16V cams and MKIII lifters. Otherwise, it's all gravy. I dont have any of the accy's or belts but these can all be acquired pretty easily. The Motor will be sold together for a price of 250. I dont want to part but exceptions can be made if this doesnt sell completely. I also have a 2h 020 tranny that I will let go for another 50 bucks (no pics of that yet its in storage)
I will also toss in the 42mm 16v intake manifold w/the motor for free.

Ok wife just got an assignment rip for Misawa Japan..... I am happy but that means I need to sell my Golf 1 as it is not old enough to send there. You can however ship it back stateside... There are few places on this car that I have not been.

Car started life as a 1982 Golf LS with the factory 1.1 liter motor.

I am not 100% sure but I think in Germany, They drive with the steering wheel on the left side of the car.....just like in the USA. This might not the correct place to look for something like that.

I have an SUV floor jack that I bought a while back that I would like to trade for a smaller floor jack. I have used it once and it back in the box, and packaged as I bought it. I'll put the specifics of the SUV jack on here later.
Oh yeah, it fits fine under my wife's '09 Jetta, mother in-laws 96 cabrio, and father in-laws benz. My ride is a lot lower than all of the above and I have no use for it.

I have several 8V 5spd trannys laying around, but I think I am a bit far from you (Olpe, 57462, 130KM north from Frankfurt).
They are Mk2 trannys but also fit into a Mk3...
