@Schrottplatzer: I have several 1.8L hydraulic engines, for which car do you need it? Carb or injection? 8.2, 9.0 or 10.0 compression ratio?

It doesn't matter carb or injected--I have a Weber DFEV set up to slap on it. Higher compression is better. Where are you? What do you want for them? If the junkyard pulls through I'll be getting one from a Scirocco today, but they've given me the run around before.

I still have a brand new 1.8 one in the basement, make me an offer (pics on Pg1)

Dual down pipe set up, manifold, down pipe, and cat. Manifold has been cleaned up and painted with high temp silver. $175 for the entire set up. That's cheaper than just the down pipe when new.

I need a set of 16'' or 17'' 5x100 wheels to put winter/all season tires on. My 18s have summer tires on them and im not wanting to pay any fines that ive heard about over here. Steelies, Long Beaches, rx-iis, W/E you have I can make it work as long as its a 16'' wheel as its the smallest that will clear my 20th brakes.

    Thanks

There are so many possibilities when you just mention...motor. Your best bet is to go 16v and if you can get a KR motor you will be set. Stay MK2 era 16v, 4 cylinders and you should fit your budget. When you look into forced induction than things go a little higher. If you could swing a G60 swap than I think you would be satisfied with the power output. Don't let your mind wonder about going VR6. You will be falling into a money pit. But...I may one available. hehe. good luck.
