Great shape only needs some minor things to pass inspection.

Car is that popular blue/purple color, 4 door golf3 VR6 (with GTi styling) that runs great. Needs rust on hatch fixed to pass insp and some minor things like a light bulb.

I'm selling an '09 Jetta, 2.5 liter, 5 speed manual, a little over 21,000 miles on the clock, winter package, ipod adapter, etc. I'll post the dealer spec sheet up as soon as I get a chance. Asking $12,000 firm. Car has been well maintained, and is a great vehicle overall. I don't really want to sell it, but it has to go for personal reasons. Car has been unmolested, as I bought it for ex-wife and she didn't want any work done on it till I finished my GTI, which is still a work in progress. Serious inquiries only. I can be reached on my cell at, 0176.646.111.20. If I don't have any lookers in the next week or so, it will go to an auto handler. I spoke with him already, and he plans on selling it for $14,000. I prob shouldn't be giving that info out, but I just want to give ya'll an idea on what it was appraised for. It recently had new window regulators installed, as well as locking mechanisms. Seems there was a defect in both areas with the MKV Jettas.

I bought mine in Baumholder junkyard and there is another one there in a white GTI (front hit, so radiator is gone). I picked up my set up with tranny for less than 200. Im putting R1 carbs on mine (just waiting on time to do swap). they also have a few audi's with 16v in them

yea im still looking. might need to make a trip down there or see if I can send my buddy who lives in Rammstein. This damn 1.3L thing needs to go. its not that at this point I am opposed to going slow, but this motor is beyond slow haha.....I was building an R1 carb ABA set up in AZ before I moved. Would like to get something like that going again on a 16V. under 200 huh.

So I am thinking of possibly trading my RM's and see if anyone was interested and what they had. Not sure yet that I actually will trade them but who knows. Just looking for something different and of equivalent value. They are still all original. 15x7,5. Two of the lips are currently removed but I have the lips and bolts as well. If I dont trade them I will just rebuild them and enjoy them but lately I have been thinking of doing some different wheels. PM me what ya have in interested. I can also send a pic. They are currently in storage and will be delivered with the rest of my household goods on thursday so I can take more pics then.

So...

My GLI 16v rebuild was going great...I thought all I was going to need was an alignment and a good wash...NOPE.

The local shop I got to put on my new timing belt/waterpump did a piss poor job and my timing belt hopped the pulley the other day. So my 16v is toast...they have the car right now...I haven't heard anything...but my GLI might be dead.

Depending on which way I'm going...I'll be looking for either a MKII GTI/GLI b/c I was just starting to love my 16v...which I never thought would happen as a reformed Vr guy...

But if I end up not getting back into a MKII I'm going to have a near mint GLI interior for sale, Wietec GT coils w/ poly bushings, a set of ATS Cups and RH Classics and a host of great interior bits...
