just a coach! I doubt Randy is going to be fighting GSP after TUF4. And im not 100% positive there actual coaches since all these fighters have already fought in the UFC. not 100% positive how the show is going to be setup?

ok...i just read the ufc webpage about TUF 4."The Ultimate Fighter on Spike TV is back for another round! TUF 4: The Comback featuring Georges St. Pierre and Randy Couture, begins after UFC FIGHT NIGHT LIVE, Thursday, August 17th starting at 8pm."
Does that mean Randy Couture is going to be an actual contender, or a coach?

Randy Couture understands there is a proper time to retire (unlike Shamrock).
and if Dana White had expectations for them to fight I am sure he would have picked guys that didn't weigh a difference of 35 lbs![]()

Well, even if Randy Couture wanted to fight he could cut the weight....if you guys remember he has won the title in i beleive 2-3 different weight classes in the UFC.But, i highly doubt he would return to fight.....im sure he has retired.

He won it twice in HW and once in LHW, I don't see him coming out of retirement.
Couture and GSP will be more of advisors than coaches, as the guys on their teams will be experienced already. Should be a great season!
It's all about squats and deads.

IMHO TUF 4 will probablly be the best season to date! With Lister, Serra and Cote to name a few of the top or my head! And you cant forget the "PIMP" Shone Carter...who was the one who did the spinning punch that KO'd Serra!

I agree with you. As I said before, Sylvia has no competition in the UFC except for Arlovski (who he has beaten twice). I would even like to see CroCop destroy Sylvia.

If Monson gets his shot I think he could take him.As far as the PRIDE event goes, weird venue for their first US event.
It's all about squats and deads.

The only way Monson would win is if he could take it to the ground, the reach alone puts him at a HUGE disadvantage. But I don't think he could take it to the ground, he telegraphs too much. From what I have seen of him he seems to get inside by taking a couple shots and just pushing through them.
He is just to short, and Sylvia is just too tall. Monson seems like he wants to be a boxer with one of the smallest reachs in the UFC

All my opinion though, I would love to see that fight, I just see Sylvia winning that based solely on his huge reach advantage, althoguh I really hoope Monson proves me wrong

Griffen vs Bonner 1 was TUF1 finale for the contract. Griffen vs Bonner 2 will the next UFC event with Liddell vs Sobral i beleive its UFC 62.Last night was some great fights.....Leben had a great KO.....and Diego won in a great fight.....definatly fight of the night.....with good stand up and good GnP. All in all it was a great fight night.......Even though i like Dean Lister he wasnt very impressive last night? Or Sasaki just impressed me a bit more even though he lost. Koscheck did impress me with his striking.
And yes Shone won the prelim fight......and it was crazy to see Matt Serra corner Shone. It seems all these guys are great professional athletes! And i already have a new respect for both Shone and Serra......Shone cracks me up!

So Diego may have the next shot at Hughes if he survives St. Pierre?
Wow.

WOW WOW WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!! The Sanchez vs. Perysian (sp) fight was excellent![]()

So many good throws, reversals and good gosh darn those guys are QUICK. I would love to see a rematch there, but Sanchez Vs. GSP or Hughes first
I am excited to watch the weigh ins to see waht the huge anouncement is, unless it is Shamrock vs. Ortiz then I will be sad.

Whatever happened to Diaz. I can't stand that guy. Just curious to know what hapenned to him. You don't hear to much about him lately. Last time I saw him fight, he beat Diego.
#202
I would be willing to bet it will be Shamrock and Ortiz on the next Fight Night
It's all about squats and deads.
#203
I think Diaz is fighting in a different org. cant remember what one. He was supposedly rumored to fight Robbie Lawler i think. And i doubt they will give Sanchez to GSP or Hughes just yet. Im thinking they will give him another big name then hopefully a title fight. (hoping GSP!)
And i so hope the big announcement is Sylvia vs Fedor......hey i can dream right!

After seeing the Sanchez fight last night it got me thinking, what night of fights would be awesome to watch given the action in the previous fight.
Bonnar vs.griffin
Sanchez vs. Parisian
Frye vs. ShamrockThe previous fights between these guys were excellent, all those fight in one night, would be swell.
Also didn't Bas Rutten recently fight again? Or has that not happened yet? if he did, what was the outcome.

As far as the fights....
Bonner vs Griffen........same outcome.....and they will be fighting in the next UFC i beleive. Griffen by decision in fight 2.
Sanchez vs Perisian......great fight last night......one of the best fights out of the UFC imho. If and when they fight again....same outcome Sanchez by decision.
Frye vs. Shamrock......both need to retire from fighting.
And yes Bas just fought in the new org WFA and won. I love Bas but i think he also needs to stay retired.
Frye, Shamrock and Bas all need to hang up there gloves. They are all great fighters.....but, have no buisness back fighting. They need to follow Couture and just stop.
MMA has become so well rounded that most of the older fighters just cant keep up. Im not taking anything away from any of them but, its just the way it is. just my .02 cents!

That may only be in the UFC though. I don't really like how guys give records sometimes. Like I am 16-0 in the UFC, but my OVERALL record is 24-16, but undefeated sounds better.
Not saying this is the Sanchez case, but for some guys it is.
