Thread: How many R32's did Hawaii get?

    1. 08-05-2006 04:24 AM #1
I am in Honolulu and I was riding around on a scooter today and I saw a DBP R32 and almost shat myself. I could not belive my eyes. I usually see about 1 R32 a month in Atlanta (barring GTG's) and my first day in Hawaii I see one. How many did Hawaii get? How unlikely is it that I will see another during the remainder of my trip.

On a side note Hawaiians love their cars. I have seen about 20 STi's and a few Evo's. I saw some nice S4's I also saw a Porsche Carrera GT, a Lambo Murcialego and Murcialego roadster, an S55, E55, Z06, and a Testarossa.

I think we...I mean they got like 11 total. Could you go say hi to my mom and tell her to ship me some poi for my b-day? I'm planning on going back to visit in the fall/winter; I just wish I could bring my R32 with me.

I was in Waikiki for July 4th and I got the same impression. I saw a bunch of STis, Porsches, A4s, S4s, Mercs and a couple of Lambos. I was like wow, and these people live on and island.

I've been out here for eight years. I heard that only about twelve or so were delivered to the islands. When they first were available I used to see one or two a week driving around. These days, I'm lucky to see one a month...

I think an R in Hawaii would be sick. My wife and I would love to move there and bring one more over

I have been dreaming about it for years since I first set foot in Hawaii in 2001...and I can taste the reality of making my way over to this wonderful place where I actually feel at home all times I have visited and I want to bring my R with me...any suggestions?

      Thank you

I just visited Oahu a few weeks ago and also saw a DBP R32 on my first day there. I was pretty excited to see one. I will say the road suck over there though, condition wise.

I did notice that large amount of STIs on the road too.
