Just to let everyone know, there is a Volkswagen GTG every tuesday night in Jacksonville Florida in the Best Buy Parking lot on Atlantic Blvd.

Euro Stiehl puts on the GTGs every tuesday night and would love for any and everyone to come out! The GTGs start at 8:00pm and we usually ride out after a bit and grab something to eat. If anyone is interested, give me shout in a PM and I can give you my cell number if you have any questions!

Ehh....I can see what you are saying about Best Buy....but its a Tuesday night, I don't think BB will be THAT packed on a Tuesday, not too mention the parking lot there is pretty ****in huge.

I like the idea of the SJTC, but in my experience, that place is FAR more packed than BB ever is any given night. Not to mention its a very pedestrian oriented area so getting in and out will be like a crawl unless we come in some crazy ass back way....which doesn't really exist.

We will see how it pans out for the Best Buy Parking lot. It should work out fine. If it doesn't, we can try other areas. But as for right now, the GTG will still be held at the parkinglot of Best Buy.

But on another note, we were the club that used to meet up at Sonic, but we never got kicked out, we moved on our own accord because Sonic was becoming too small for us...lol.. We would have so many people that we were unable to park next to eachother, and had to walk back and forth from one side of the lot to the other. So we moved onto bigger lots The manager of the Sonic we used to go to actually drove a Notchback! It was pretty sweet..lol.

Yeah man, don't get me wrong, I mean I can appreciate a well done JDM car....but if you had seen some of the rides that used to hang out at BJ's...you'd know why we said what we said. Many kids were more interested in racing up and down JTB than they were interested in their car. I am glad you followed this link to check this GTG out from the thread you had posted in....like Kyle says, we're laid back and just like to chill.

I mean, I have never had someone approach me in the laid back manner they did, about joining in on the club and GTG's. I eagerly look forward to returning to Jax in a few short weeks.

I hope to meet ya sometime once I return, in addition to the 20 some odd other members we have acquired.

P.S. Kyle....I am looking into ordering a fender from an auto dismantler in Lakeland...so hopefully when I come back, the dub will be back to its unscathed state.

Jax Dubs meets up on Thursday night at tinseltown.

ANNOUNCMENT!!!

We are going to be holding two meetings a week for a few weeks ladies and gentlemen. The Tuesday meet is our normal meet, but our new second meeting is held on Friday nights in the Tinseltown parking lot at 7:30pm. The reason for this is because alot of our prospective BMW members are only able to meet on Friday nights. So I wanted to hold a meeting for a few weeks as sort of a meet and greet with old/new members. I ask that ALL of our members try and make both meetings so that you all get to meet everyone. Once I meet and greet with all of the BMW/other members on Fridays, I am going to try and move them to our origional time on Tuesdays.

P.S. Any new members(VW, Audi, Porsche, Lamborgini, BMW, MINI, ect.) that would like to come out this friday if you missed the tuesday meeting I would LOVE for you all to come out!

It took me weeks to figure out little abbreviations that people use on here.

Ones like FTW, BTW, BOT, OT, OP all took me forever to figure out on my own.

Heck, there is a specific moderator that once asked me what "FTW" meant haha.
