SoWo looks cool and all...but with so many regional shows that are just as well attended and established...is it worth it? Granted it's all what you make it...but the show just seems standered...lots of cars I seem to recognize from H20i last year...am I just jelly?

No LRP this weekend...gots other things poppin off...maybe Bakerz meet in NY on Sunday...

SoWo is a totally different atmosphere, well worth it in my opinion. I'll definitely go again.

Nice. Last time I went to lrp was maybe two years ago for Ferrari and Maserati day. Nothing like two vintage Ferraris bumping going into turn one, lol.

Just got back from seeing him. Without wanting to put it all out there, he is alive and still in a typical "Marco" mood. He was happy and joking around with the nurses. He has a long road ahead of him with at least 1 more surgery. He basically broke (trying to remember exactly) his left leg in 3 spots and his something in his hip. He is lucky, but has a long summers worth of recovery.

Yeah, someone thought that crossing 2 lanes was fine. Bike is obviously a total loss.

You def need to make the trip, as Swink said, different vibe man, and it's not a "show". This year was 3200+ cars and over 8000 people and it's a Friday - Sunday deal not just a 1 day show. Next year we're looking to add a charity golf tourney on Thursday.

    -----------------------------

I exchanged texts with Marc the day it happened. I wasn't sure how bad his injuries were, friggin sucks but it could have been much, much worse

Word...sounds like a good time...was always just curious to hear from locals who make the trip...sadly shows during the school year are always a bit tricky for me...you never know...maybe someday...

Hope Marco is doing well...scary isht man...wish him a speedy recovery...
