As some of you may know, I have been planning on joining the Marine Corps for some time now. Last month I enlisted with a projected ship date of Feb. 11th 2013. Well, I was presented with the opportunity to leave early, so I took it. I'll be leaving for boot camp Monday June 4th. I was hoping to have one last get together as a sort of "going away party", but with the time constraints I don't think that's going to happen. Anyway, I guess you could consider this as a sort of "goodbye for now". I'll be back Sept. 1st-9th for boot leave and expect to see most of you during that time.

PS. My brother enlisted too and also leaves Monday June 4th.

I know you guys have had plenty of wheel/tires mounted, what are the best spots around here to do that. I'm thinking some new wheels for the GTi and will probably just use the tires that are on the stock wheels, 225/40/18. So, it would be dismount tires and remount on new wheels, without F'n them up of course

Either sttc or s&d tires. S&D tires is the cheapest. Both are good in my opinion.

S&D tires is 7.50 a tire. He doesnt do many car tires. He mainly does truck and tractor tires. But he had no problem with mine.

I had assumed that by the lack of interest, it doesn't really matter to me. The cable/software paid for itself already as far as I'm concerned, I just wanted to meet a few local VW guys.
