Thread: Custom Subwoofer enclosure, finally done!

  1. 09-04-2006 02:17 PM #1
Well I want to thank punkbastard first of all, he was a great help. It finally stopped raining so I was able to finish my project.

The carpet does match, just the old carpet is kind of dirty. I'm getting a gorilla gear mat soon, so that ugly tire ring will go.

Moved the light and charger over to the left side.

    Infinity Perfect 10" & Kenwood KAC-7252 500Wx1 4 Ohm

I listen to: Hip-Hop, DnB, Rock, Electro, etc. Pretty much everything except Country, Classical, and Trance. I have no idea how loud it is, as I'm waiting on my AVIC-Z1 to get here. But I've had a perfect 12 before and that was MORE than enough.

    I'd say about $150:

And a lot of time, it was the first time I've ever used fiberglass.

    remove those window tints ASAP

    1. It's tint not tints
    2. They look a lot darker in the rain
    3. Black tint on a Black car looks ghetto IMHO

It looks a little more OEM in the day without rain: http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=2739672

That's very well done; no loss of trunk space. My kind of mod.

Like I said it's the angle & the rain. Here are some normal pictures, it looks just a bit darker than factory: http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=2739672

And Black Tint on a Black car

Nicely done my friend! What made you decide to put the sub on the right side? Sounds better right? It looks like that big ass amp barely fits on that panel but you pulled it off. By the way when you get the Z1, get your self a sound processor of some sort, you'll need it. I have the 3sixty.2 and its awesome.

it is not *aftermarket* tint (is it ?)

It rained where I live and the windows get the same *blue* look after it rains. I guess the way the light diffuses through, etc.
