That usually means a girl has implants.

It's lower in the back then it is in the front. Looks like it's sagging on its rear springs.

The wheel gaps just look off. It has to be symmetrical.

18's would be better in every way, looks, practicality etc

(S)he might have had a twig and berries also.

FWIW, the car is about 1/2" too low in the rear. The rear wheel tuck looks a bit goofy.

Raise the front 1/2" and the rear 1" and I think you'll have a much better overall appearance.

Exactly. The similarities are uncanny! The wheels are too big, they look unnatural and the lack of spring travel will be harsh and and handling will feel a bit weird.

It's not lower in the back, the wheel opening in the rear is smaller. Just like it is on the MKIV, leading people to think that even ride height, front to rear, is actually higher in the front.

I think it looks fine, but I drive a MkIV so I'm automatically functionally retarded.

19's are too big for nearly any car. Chances are, if they aren't too big for your car, then your car is too big.

I guess my fiancee will be flattered you chose to post pics of her Mk5 in TCL....

FWIW - These pics were taken the day these wheels were put on, which, coincidentally, was the next day after the suspension was installed, so it wasn't fully adjusted just yet. That and a few other things have been addressed since then.

This car won't be seeing a Road Course, AutoX, or 1320 anytime soon, so she is perfectly content with her choice of wheels and suspension height.

I think it looks like a TOYOTA.

Just kidding! Looks GREAT! There's something about white GTI's that screams hotness.

I like it. After seeing the GLI in person, and poking around the GTI, the mkV has finally grown on me. If they're a bit more reliable then the mkIVs one may be my next purchase.

its not reverse rake. its the way the wheel arches are designed.

      Too big and too low...

Theres no such thing as too low. Whats too big? The wheels? You guys are bad at this.

Wish you could see the car at current ride height from a good side or front quarter shot on flat ground. I'm sure it would make you all happier
