Thread: Cool car names for dogs

    1. 09-12-2006 11:07 PM #1
Ok, so this is a little bit of a stretch. Let's see how creative the CL is tonight. I have heard of dogs named Beemer . . .

But what else is out there?

Wouldn't it have been more appropriate to name it after a Subaru or a Porsche then?

My family's dogs have always been named after cars... We've had 1 named Porsche, 2 named Bentley, 3 named Ferrari, and 1 named Romeo (Alfa Romeo).

I named my dog Rusty (short for Rust Bucket), because people want him off the road and I can beat him without feeling bad.

Murray is named after Gordon Murray. I always wanted another dog to name Gordon, even though the nickname 'Gordo' really bugs me and has ever since Stand By Me (which is why he's named Murray rather than Gordon. Welcome to my neurotic hell.)

I used to know a guy who named his dog, "torque converter". It was the funniest thing when he would call his dog in - "Oh, torque converter, where are you? Time to eat torque converter."
