You could always add weight to the rear of the car and take as much as possible out of the front to bring the front-to-rear weight bias in check. Sure, it'll end up heavier that way, but you have a twin-turbo V8, so who cares?

Well, stock those Rallye's weigh what? A bit over 2,200lbs? So add the engine, which I'm guessing isn't THAT heavy. Sure it'll be heavier than stock, but not absurdly heavy. Even if you add a good 500lbs of weight to the back of the car, it'll still be under 3,000lbs. And then factor in how much power that engine is going to be capable of producing. It'll still rape most other cars on the road.

But, all that weight you are adding is in the front end. What's the drive train of this car I wonder?

Well, if we assume that the quattro drivetrain is being used, there's a little more weight back there already. Then if you use a carbon fiber hood, that'll shave some weight from the front, move the battery to the rear (removes ~40 lb. from the front) and stuff like that, I bet you could get away with adding maybe 200 lb. to the rear? So if a Rallye weighs 2200ish lb. stock, maybe the V8 and quattro drivetrain weighs 400 lb. more than the 4-banger and syncro drivetrain, but let's say 500 lb. to be a little conservative, then you add the 200 lb. to the rear I was talking about, you end up with a 2900-lb. car.... so let's say it's 3000 lb if you add a roll cage and do some weight reduction to the front end and interior. That's lighter than the Mk4 Golf R32, the Subaru WRX STi, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo, and lighter than the vast majority of passenger cars currently on the road.![]()
