next purchase will be the pleated metallic coach hobo from last winter. couldn't spend the $500 at the time, they're on ebay for $200-300 now.

also, must have a denim dooney & bourke

No its not sarcastic. I saw coach purses and wallets at target last week. They are still up in price but the fact that I saw them there was surprising.

Anyway, over the past 2 years Ive bought my wife and my wife has bought for herself a juicy couture bag, LV, and Gucci. She has more but they are the only ones that I know of.

i've never heard of such a thing, and it makes no sense. there's none on the target site, and since coach can't be sold for any price but what's on the tag, it just isn't logical for target to sell them.

they sell coach wristlets at the targets by me but nothing like handbags or totes.

very strange, must be something they do in areas that don't have coach stores nearby or something. i never really pay much attention to handbags there, but i'm sure i would have noticed at some point.

they do have coach at costco though

just weird since target is a "discount" place for the most part, and coach doesn't allow stores to mark down their products, you can only get discounted coach at their factory outlets.

we have lots of coach stores around here. so i'm not sure why they would sell any items at target. if i remember right the wristlets were priced at 39.99....maybe 49.99 but definitely not more than that. not sure if that's discounted for coach since i don't buy/wear their stuff.

i guess i'll have to take a look next time i go, i never go into the handbag area since i wouldn't buy one there... so i thought.

coach DOES have wristlets for around $50, so that sounds right. they don't allow discounts, which sucks cause when robinsons-may went out of business last year, everything was insanely discounted ($105 steve maddens for $16, score!) but all the coach was immediately shipped out to other places.

it was probably one like this? they go for $48.

this is the Coach bag and wristlet i got for christmas the nearest Coach store is about an hour away, so i drove my mom down to make sure i liked the color of the leather.... well.... i love them! They are the legacy collection....

Someone told me that you can tell a coach bag is fake because if they are real all the C's match up and aren't back to back or something like that.
But that kind of doesn't make sense to me.

Anyway, I know it isn't a purse but I just got Chanel earrings for myself and I LOVE them very very much.

I suggest getting them, they are beautiful.
I don't have any designer handbags (I wish)
But I love the quilted Chanel handbags & big coach handbags.
All my purses I have are huge.

i go through burberry phases. i had the itch like two years ago, and lately it's been creeping back in my mind. i like the handbags, but i really want a burberry scarf. i just got a nice camel wool jacket and a burberry scarf would go beeeautifully with it.

So what's up with all the fake handbags I'm hearing girls talking about? Apparently all of these knock offs are reproduced to near or identical specs as the authentics? I heard a woman in front of me talking to the clerk about a handbag party she was having and I guess it is a knock off party or something. But apparently the clerk and shopper both agreed that these bags were exact in detail.

basically. i have friends that have knock offs that you wouldn't be able to tell otherwise. not even authorized DEALERS knew but that's another story. they paid generally around $200 - $300 for wondefully constructed bags. i guess paying $700 for a purse may seem crazy to some people. i know a guy that works for gucci in nyc so we all get 40% off anyways. i personally don't care if you're carrying a fake or not i have other things to worry about

I don't like how the Speedys look all saggy after a while - the bottom just seems to sag. I have the Alma and the Popincourt (sp?) Long. I may have to pick up a Chanel now too.

my personal collection for work:

coach portfolio, coach messenger bag...oh yeh on 1 of our 2 coach leather chairs

sorry ladies, but here is some of my wife's collection - mostly vera and coach

this does not include any of the coach shoes, watches, sunglasses, and additional drawer of misc accessories

...and if she saw how i treated her bags for these pics, she would kill me
