Austin Area GTGs

So, im gonna edit the first post in this thread with the location and time of the GTGs. Let me know if I should add anything. The plan now: the Taco C at 360 and 183, 9 pm. Hope to meet some new people!

If its too cold, I'll bring the S, the MKII doesn't have heat.

no you have heat its prob just a bad switchy deal, just move it with your hand. i forget what its called, heater control valve maybe.

Not that I am any help now because I still don't know if I will make it, but I feel your pain. I had to do it in my last Jetta after an endurance session of 5 hours under the gun. I thought my calf was going to fall off.

Yeah it was tons of fun. Probably the most fun i've had at a GTG yet. Blew SEA and EU meets out of the water.

Just curious what some of you would be willing to pay for an autocross prepped 2000 Jetta GLS VR6:
-Neuspeed 25mm front & 28mm rear sway bars
-WRD lower stress bar
-Autotech upper stress bar (front)
-Rebuilt control arms with audi tt bushings
-Upper strut mount eccentric camber/caster adjustment kit
-I JUST finished putting in a fresh Peloquin limited slip differential on a low mileage Eurospec 02J with a 3.94 ring and pinion and diesel geek shifter (front to back & side to side reduction). The differential also has a brand new prototype endcover built by Gary Peloquin on it that is currently stronger than any other production bolt kit in the country for 02J's. When I had the tranny apart all of the gears/bearings/syncros were in excellent condition.
-EMPI axles
-15lb RSL 17x7 inch rims with Falken fk451 size 225/45-17. The tires will, however, need to be replaced. Along with that the car needs an alignment.
-Neuspeed P-Flo intake
-MKIII VR6 downpipe
-TT high flow catalytic converter
-GHL 2.5" catback exhaust

If you gut this car you'll have a quite capable front wheel drive autocross machine. If no one is interested I'll atleast let you know wether I trade it into the Subaru dealer or Carmax because I'd really like the car to go to someone who will appreciate all the hard work that's been put into it .

i have one in maine but im not sure if all the pieces are there, i know that i have the tubing and the box and i think that all the bolts are in the box

Also, this thread is a surprise to me. The last time I went to taco cabana(November) there were only 3 dubs including myself. Do people still meet?
