I keep seeing a super dope TT on Mount Bonnell Road. Dude gives me the sign every time. Is it anyone on here? I believe the car lives by Mount Bonnell as well...It's white with teal wheels.

Depending on the type of Amex account/card you have with them, you can raise some serious hell. I used to travel for work and all my travel expenses would go on to my Amex. Then when I would get to the said travel destination, they would refute all the charges for "potential fraud"

I got them to remove all of their minor fraud tracking on my card, and on purchases over 5K I just get a text message asking if I made the purchase.

I haven't had a problem in years, knock on wood. But I went through about 10 people at Amex before I got to this point.

That sucks man. Its been happening to a lot of our clients who have AMEX cards. They're security is really tight and there is a lot of behind the scenes stuff that has to match up (numbers) and if they don't, marked as fraud right away

Alex -- as for detailing I have Zach to take care of very soon (before SOWO), but after that we could meet up during the week or on the weekend to clay your car and put down some good protection. If we did it during the week it wouldn't take but two hours or so with two people.

Did that V1 save your a$$ more than once?! It has saved me countless times on I-10.

Yeah, huge pain in the ass; It's their standard green card. Thinking about just cancelling it, tires are still not re-billed to the card yet (and of course not shipped due to no payment)... grrrr

I love my job today I get to review all of our "adult oriented" websites to look for materials we deem inappropriate (pictures, video, blah blah).

I'd share some but ...... its not appropriate even here

Looking for porn indeed, and contacting the store owners to let them know they have to remove the "porn" we deem inappropriate. That's the only awkwardness of this whole deal Conversations so far have gone as follows:

"Hi, just calling about the site. We ask that you please remove the demonstration video on 'xyz product page'. Its against our terms and conditions for you to display that content while using our software"

Reply "Oh sorry about that! We'll get it removed!"

    Awesome.

One of my clients is the worlds only vegan strip club, Casa Diablo. It was awesome selling him. Job codes and skill levels were awesome.

I use to manage a chain of Video stores and it was my job to bring home and check out all the "damaged" adult videos.

Trust me, there is enough of this type of look <<< going on when I pull up some of the sites. Its not all that great as today has elevated my "Weird Siht-O-Meter" to a whole other level

Wanted to make anybody who is thinking about buying the 3M headlight restoration kit aware NOT to buy the kit that is labeled 3M Lens Renewal Complete Kit with Protectant. Its priced at $31.99 and all you get extra is some painters tape and a crappy little packet of wax.

    Product page: http://www.autogeek.net/3m-lens-kit-39045.html

Save yourself the extra $$$, buy the kit priced at $21 - 23, use the wax you already have, and if needs be, buy a whole role of painters tape which you can use for other detailing needs.

WHEW. Picked up the $21 one yesterday to help me with the lens on a Merc for tomorrow. I got tired of using the sanding blocks so this kit should be useful since I can use my drill.

Ok, I don't have time to look through this whole thread(I'm in Afghanistan) but I'm gonna be looking to find a G2G in the Austin area this summer so I can meet some fellow VW fans and make some new friends as I'm new to the area(only lived there 2 months before deploying). I have a MKVI and a MKIV(will be trying to sell when I get back). Let me know if you know of anything!

Get home safely. Tuesday nights at the Draught House @ 8PM is our standard g2g, and occasionaly folks plan something one off during the weekends.

Sanding blocks are great though for the tight spots. I use them quite often. With the drill kit, just remember not to press too hard as I've learned, and sand just like you would polish. The pad needs changing when they turn white in the middle or there is debris sticking to the sand paper.

How could a performance that resulted in an image like this be awkward?!
