    I'd be down for that!!!!

Charles and Tyler - Thank you for the help yesterday! Raised my R's fronts by nearly a full inch and wow did I miss this feeling! Rides sooooo much better, and handles better as well.

Andrew thank you for the Jack. I can bring it to you this weekend if you'd like.

I think I found a spot for us to watch the eclipse and shoot some photos. I’m thinking Cranes Mill Park down on Canyon Lake. It looks like there’s plenty of west facing parking right next to the water. I’ll do some research to find out if it costs to get in (maybe $5). Enchanted rock seemed a little too far and will probably be crowded with not many photo ops. Maybe we can get the SA guys to come out?

I’ll post something tomorrow with all the details!

Lauren now drives the R32 full time as in every day. The S4 as of today in its current state is parked on the days I work from home and parked on the days I ride my bike to work Until I get the transmission fluid changed which we hope will help the torque converter issue based on the master tech's suggestion I'm not driving it much. We fully plan to have the torque converter changed out if the transmission fluid change doesn't help. I just can't drive a car with a known issue like this and not be thinking of it all the time. also I don't want to damage anything else despite their assurance it won't hurt the transmission.

My R looks so damn good now. The Rake I had going now that I don't have it was terrible looking and f-ed my front tires even with a good alignment. Ride is soooo much better. Only way I'll ever go low like that again is with air ride.

Meh. I'm a Rolex guy myself, Submariner Date for me (I sold Rolex for four years). Watch looks nice but anymore pics? My Sub was the only item I have ever purchased that appreciated.

New seats, new watch, someone got their Q1 bonus!

That sounded harsher than I meant it ha. Big automatic fan though, the only watches I will actually wear.

Make this happen three more times and then your yearly bonus will be their salary haha.

Are those the replicas? If I remember correctly the actual Porsche seats have the crest on the front. Either way where did you source them? They look ridiculously awesome in the car I won't lie I almost grabbed a set crazy cheap last year but I am going to hold our for a set of CS's... They are just soooooooooo expensive

Yeah these are reps... Not the cheap ones though.... Still 625 a piece.... I had a deal on a real set out of Dallas for 2600 but when I saw them the backs were beat to hell... So I have been looking ever since (about a year now). I can't find a nice set under 4k.... Plus I would get them reupholstered because I don't want Porsche **** in my Audi... So I would be set back even more ... Then I found these out of a 996 TT . The owner was selling his car and put it back to stock and threw these up for sale... Under 1500 shipped so I jumped!!! This style is the only aftermarket ones I like in the TT... So I sucked up my pride and got them.... I am happy

    Question for the detail guys.

On my way back home from Austin, I must have hit every bug flying in the air that night. I didn't have time to actually wash the car till today and I could get all the bug goop off the hood, front bumper, and for some reason the side of the car. What's the best way to go about removing it without messing up my paint (more that it already is)?

    Thanks in advance.

Try some real soapy water and let it sit on the bugs for a while and then rinse and wipe off. If that doesn't work I'd try a watered down and diluted degreaser and let that dwell on the bugs and then it should wipe off pretty easy. As long as its diluted you'll have no problem with it on the paint.

So far, Athens is super dope. I've seen a few sciroccos and a TON of mk3 16v polos. Not to mention the seats in the Swiss airplane were recaro. So comfy.

It turns out that the park doesn't let people in just for the day. It's either camping or using the boat dock.

How about we just go to the Oasis, grab dinner looking over the lake and snap some photos on top of the parking garage?
