At the g2g tonight, I mentioned what I thought was the best "gay" car ad put out by a car manufacturer.

This Volvo one is my favorite, I think you'll all get it. It was done in 2003 (when Ford owned Volvo) for the Sydney Mardi Gras (which is Australia's biggest gay parade/party) Program book.

Really, even the H100 didn't keep it as cool as I wanted. But I think there was a few variables preventing maximum "coolage" Lol. So with a few mods to the heatsink and addition of a reservoir should bring temps down a good deal.

John - did you ever have any overheating issues with the 560ti ? I'm running hot and its causing lockups when I push the card by playing BF3 or a video card burn-in test. I'm gonna take the card out today and make sure the fins are nice and clean but even with the fans at 100% under a load the card is reaching 61 - 62 temps . Causing a full crash of my box due to heat

Just curious. I've got some ideas to fix it

Not that I know of. I stopped monitoring temps on it a few weeks back. But I never had any issues with the card. What case are you using? I did have a good amount of fans in my case. 60c temps are fine for a GPU, though. That's actually rather cool. I use to play for HOURS and not have a single issue. Keep me updated.

Mark you can try looking at your BIOS settings, and a new case might be in order if your needing better cooling

My boat was a bust. Oh well.

Anyways. I know someone had offered an engine hoist up at one point in time. Does that still exist? I could use it. All my wiring parts arrive today! Sadly I still am missing a micro TYCO terminal tool that gets here HOPEFULLY Friday.

John - running the Cooler Master HAF+ case. HAF stands for high air flow and it certainly is getting plenty of air. I have two 120 mm fans up front, one on the side blowing in, two for the H60 sucking air out of the box, and finally a 200mm fan on top pulling air out. I'm gonna play with it more b/c 60 isn't that high for a gpu, you're right

Andrew - i'd switch to different cooling (liquid) before getting rid of my case I love this thing. All my wires are hidden with the false wall it comes with

Ok, and car stuf..........I know they're played, yada yada, blah blah blah . I like them. Can somebody be kind enough to point me in the right direction to start looking at 5x100 reps........please? I just wanna see what kinda money we're talking.

OH and get this isht.....the S4 today.....not a single problem in the transmission. Not missing once. I even pushed it hard on mopac from the shoulder to full acceleration and the transmission and torque converter performed flawlessly. GOD DAM IT !!!!!

I have a HAF 912 case with a 200mm and 120mm in front. 1 120mm from the side and 200mm up top as an exhaust setup. Its gotta be something else. What psu do you have? Did you plug in the 2 6 pin power connectors on the card? Really seems like a power issue to me. As suggested, check your bios. I know on the older boards you had to disable the on board graphics if you are using an external card. If equipped of course.

It could be power related. I'm on a thermaltake 450 so might be time to get some more power. Both power plugs are plugged into the card. My buddy has an extra psu i'll play with. Not worried man, just tired of kicking some serious a$$ in BF only for it to lock up on me

....ok and this is a lot if info but you all need to know about this. The hacker's anonymous group has a major attack planned for Friday. We've already got a lot of our servers on lock down as they are at a data center where two of the below domain's are also housed.

We, #TheWikiBoat would like to introduce this press release on our very first operation: Operation NewSon (OpNewSon). As previously stated, we have no motives other then doing it all for the lulz. However this operation will be slightly different and will somewhat change our already stated objective on doing it for the lulz. On the day of the operation, we plan to hit and attack several high corporate entities. Shortly after the start of the operation, we plan to release precious classified data on the already set out list of targets we do have. Those targets are none other then the ones who ultimately rule: the high revenue making companies of the world. While attacking the major companies of this planet may seem lulzy, we also wish that this operation make a difference. We are "sticking it to the man" so to speak. Our hopes are set out on this being a major operation because after all, we will be hitting major corporate/incorporate associations.

This operation has three parts to it.

    1. Spread the word of OpNewSon

This part is already in effect. We just need everyone to spread the word that a major operation is coming up real soon. The goal is for this message to get at least 5,000 views. Please spread the word of this operation in any way you can. Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc. Let the corporate entities know that we are coming.

    2. The online protests

This is where we need your help! Online protesting is simple and effective. All that's needed is enough people with the power to stand up to those who ultimately rule the world. We ask that you join us on the day of the 25th (May) in our IRC for further
    instructions on our planned protesting.
    ** IRC: http://cbe003.chat.mibbit.com/?chann...rc.voxanon.net **

Until then, here's how you can ready up...We're going to be DDoS'ing the targets. DDoS takes a website offline for a certain amount of time depending on how many people are participating in the attack. These easy meaningful attacks are actually quite effective and have huge impacts. The tool we will be using is called LOIC.
    Donwload here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/loic/

We'll explain how to use LOIC as well as which targets we'll be hitting on the 25th of May. More information and updates will also become available on Twitter: @AnonymousWiki @AnonymouSpoon @MehIzDanneh @TibitXimer @Anonymau

    3. The attacks
This phase will be the most powerful. By the time this phase is enitiated, all targets will have been downed (DDoS'd) for at least 2 hours. This phase is all about leaking highly classified data from the targets.

THIS OPERATION WILL COMMENCE ON MAY 25th, 2012

Mark, if your psu is a 450 I highly recomment upgrading, I did my research and with some pro tips im going with a seasonic, there one of the few companies that build their own units to they're specs=greater reliability and stability. Here's the link to my thread on Seven Forums**
I received some great info, worth a read.

I think I might get some self contained gpu h20 units

Porsche reps are hard to find. Google is the best bet there are some pretty good offerings out there if you're willing to look. I found a lot when I was deployed last time. Just google the company before you pay, but I think you know that. I dont think you'll have a problem with replicas, it's like that classic rota pic or the end of the world yea it COULD happen but most likely not.

PS my 686lb rear springs BLOW! Bouncy at low speed w/ full rebound and induce dumb amounts of oversteer. Probably going to call AST if I can't adjust it out. Need to make sure it's the right length and everything. My 500lb fronts are the hotness. Smooth like butta.

Are you sure everything is ok with your damping? Although I am no auto suspension guru but I have spent years tuning MTB's and that is either too much compression via too stiff a spring or too slow a compression damping. It just seems odd they would send you springs that are too heavy.

I never even got into the "fiasco" with the wheels on the forum here, but long story short, they (Konig) sent me 3 wheels that where 5x100 and one that was 5x112

and of course I didn't find that out until tires were mounted and I tried to bolt them all up

    all sorted now though...

Pshh 5x100 5x112 honestly is there even a difference

Yea it totally feels over sprung, who knows. I'll just double check the PN the go 600 or 650 and call it good.

450w is under the recommended limit. 500w with a 30v +12v rail is the minimum for a gtx 560ti. Depending on all the components you are running on your system you could be dangerously underpowering it. Id keep it removed until you can get a larger psu.

(i did offer you a 600w as well)

So close to being able to start the car! Just waiting for one more terminal tool and I can run the rest of the harness and then test it. One thing that is not fun about wiring is having to test it all. I literally have to run everything and then test before I pull it all to sheath. Its gonna be wicked though, everything firewall forward is full custom and it is all wrapped in tech flex. Got a hot knife today to cut the nice stuff

Shock update: I broked it.... I guess when I was putting a nut on it caught the adjuster bearing and well broke it/tweaked it. Now only the driver rear of my car bounces.

It happens. I stopped being angry at unexpected crap out of my control a loooong time ago. AST will be able to fix it for less than $50 I assume.

So after discovering my unknown food allergy and my hands are normal size......
I completed the 2slow install in the truck tonight. Still some details but it's in there all is rolling smooth... Those BFI mounts are definitely a mutha getting in as the fits soo tight but I worked passed that. Pwr steering an a/c in there..... FYI the BFI mounts allow for setting the motor lower in the bay so no clearance issue except ground clearance ....

Turbo room !! .... Yessis , room for the precious.....

I'm sure if he were dumping it on the ground with some BBS RS on it, the feedback would be more positive.
