I'm sure if he were dumping it on the ground with some BBS RS on it, the feedback would be more positive.

Got the wheels. What's the best way to get the valve stem off? They're pretty beat but it's only the paint. I'm going to strip them and hopefully decide how to finish them. I'm thinking bronze or chrome played would look sweet.

Al has a set of 4x100 wheels I've been letting him borrow for a while (Does 4 years count as a while?). They came off MkII Cabrio, and I believe they're 14".

Cost: Free - You just need to work out getting them from Al if he's not using them right now.
RIP MkIII Jetta. 6 years, 160k miles and countless memories.

Me and Tyler we're making fun of the MKIV/5x100 forums on Tuesday. The hazard plate thing is something Zach said when he just started on VWs. About half the wheels on the 5x100 need adapters to fit "hella mad tyte flush yo!" Just poking fun at how serious some of the forums get.

Exactly!! SS! DWS! I hate all the bays that have so much work and thought into them, but have the factory brake fluid reservoir.. all that hard work gone to waste because they cheap out on something that stands out compared to all that custom work.

Considered as I have one, the thing is the Mk4 is a dual port MC. I think it would be boss to hide it inside the cabin and run a hardline to it. Idea done.

You shouldn't have much issues... Make sure your flywheel and cam, crank shaft are all lined up correctly put on timing belt... Then loosen dizzy and with motor running turn it in either direction til it sounds right..... Idling around 750-850 and then tighten it up!!! I use to do it this way all the time.. Would advance the timing to get more umph when auto crossing then to drive home I would adjust it back....
