Thanks man. You're welcome to drive it any time. When I heard this video I was sold. Even though this dude has cams the sound is super super close, especially when he takes off at around the 12 second mark.

Oh, it most definitely will go on a MKV R. Just need to make sure it will fit.

I'll definitely take you up on that offer. I haven't driven a MKIV R is quite some time.

FYI and I may be mistaken but the mkv R won't ever spun exactly like a Mkiv because the headers are a little different and something else goofy.

The headers give the Mkiv it's unique rasp, I was really bummed when I put my stock CB on w SS headers and it wasn't the same as stock. :.(

Yeah, thats what I hate. The MKIV R sound is just eargasmic. While the MKV R just doesn't have that much uniqueness to it.

I think the sound difference could also be caused by the different exhaust cams in the motors.

Sorry, I was out at my pool all night drinking beers until late last night, and didn't get a chance to catch up on the thread.

ANYWAY.

My suggestion this week is The Brick House Tap and Tavern. 11680 Research Blvd, Austin, TX

It's right on the corner of 183/Duval Southbound side, same parking lot as Chuy's.

1. Parking- We can all park together similarly to how we did at the DH. All you have do is PASS THE MAIN ENTRANCE and take the next available right (BEFORE IHOP), which will be Thunder Creek Rd. Then enter the parking lot on the right hand side along side the back of the building.

2. Drinks- There is a pint night tonight, where if you get a certain beer, you get to keep the glass. There is also $1 Lone Star $1 PBR and $3 Domestic Drafts on special all night.
3. Outdoor- I'll get us a big table that will be on a patio, so we will have open air. And yes, Shawn your puppy is welcome, pets are totally cool on the patio.
4. Under 21- Also cool. Plus they have a menu with some pretty decent food!

Dude his car has come a long long way like yours. I don't consider your car in a category the same as his, but I also know how the voting there worked so it would be a toss up between yours and his for sure.

I planned on being there but then life happened..aka my crazy sister. I got a few text's from people telling me I would have placed with the Avant that afternoon too Oh well, next time!
