ordered the MAF earlier this morning so it'll be here next week, I guess.

Also just ordered a Hogue grip "condom" for the .45 I just picked it up to give the gun a gander and realized that unless my hands are utterly dry the polymer grip is fairly difficult to hang on to...also I need a stream-lite w/ laser

actually I'd really like to have a new GT and supercharge the sh!!t out of it but then I'd just be another Ford Sheep running around. If I lived up in the North East I'd probably wouldn't be keeping my GTI that long and would switch to something more unique like a Touareg and supercharge it . It's just too hard to be unique with a Ford around here.

Granted everyone and their mother drives a Jetta, nicely modded Jettas are few and fard between, it seems.

I was searching the Touareg forums and it looks like no Supercharger kit exists for the V6 yet...I guess VF has it still in development.

I'd pick up a low miles touareg w/ maybe 30K on the clock and then S/C it for around 310hp. For $5k that's not a bad jump plus you get the driveability of a centrifugal supercharger.

I bet I could make the kit even cheaper by getting my own piping done and just picking up the software, charger and brackets from VF...hmm. I can't wait till Early '08!

can't find one...and I don't want to buy new since that's just throwing money away as soon as I drive away, anyway. Plus $64 for a V10? Eh, I'll buy a Cayenne instead for that much.

I've seen some V8s going for as much as V6s on eBay but I'd rather go to the dealer (missouri, texas) than buy it on eBay.

I've a year and a half to find one, no hurry.

oh...you guys and gal remember me telling you about the lightning strike I was only a few feet away from? Of course you do. Here's a pic I snapped the next day of the top of the pole (they've cut the top off, since). I didn't even notice the bird when I took it. Seems like all my best pictures are like that...even though this is just a blown up telephone poll, lol

Looks like the bird took a massive poo and blew the top apart!

you guys think I could get a 3" downpipe made for less than $225?

I was thinking about picking this ATP downpipe up to replace my 2.5" that Dyno & Performance decided was good enough; and it is when the ATP dump opens up but until then it feels all boggy. I'm wondering if anyone local can make one like it for less or equal. Donnie's or Polk.

Would anyone mind if I ran no exhaust after the cat for awhile until I can afford a full 3" I bet I could sell my 2.5" catback with a flowmaster outlaw for a resonator and a Magnaflow oval 1 into 2 for a good price.

anybody need a cat back???

1. I dout it, stainless is exspensive, they could do it in alumized for that price though

2. And if someone did build it for you there would be welds between the bends. Noone in town has a mandrel builder that works, so they have to piece it together with 180's.

So really you can't beat the ATP for price, quailty, power. I am happy with mine.
