Here is a couple pics, Just a reminder this thing is dirty and needs all of its systems gone through. Its gonna take awhile to get her gone through and cleaned up but I think she is gonna be a good car. And does anyone local have a VAG Com? I am having a random oil light that likes to come on once or so every 3 days.

if you need vagcom for the oil light issue i don't think it will help..... chasing it down would be your best bet, the turbo feed line runs off the oil adapter on top of the oil filter housing also where your oil pressure, temp switch are i would check the connectors there make sure there good, check the oil level, and doing an oil pressure test on a aba's is easy enough swell...... it shouldn't be hard to dial on that motor

For an oil pressure test you just need a screw in gauge right? I have been thinking about renting one to check it out. I'll check the connections tomorrow, Thanks
Also the ICV that is just setting on top of my engine without being plumbed into anything, is that normal for a Kinetic turbo setup?
Any Idea what this plugs into? It looks like the same connector that is plugged into the upper intake but there is already one plugged in there.

I plan on lowering it but I am not sure how low I will go, probably something mild. I'll probably keep a watch out for some used parts up on the classifieds.

yeah it screws into your oil pressure switch... my mind is blank as to which one it is sorry long day... i will remember and i'll post up.... the crankcase vent would run normally into to your intake pipe... with your turbo set up you can't do that by the looks of it....... on mine i just ran it to atmosphere on and never had any issues but you could run a catch can

I was wondering about that and about the open electrical connector there. Also wondering about this...

Yes and no, I really haven't pushed it much until I can figure out this oil issue. It really seems to get up and go. I also noticed one other issue around 4.5k rpm I am getting kind of a buck or a chug, I've got to figure out that issue too. I have been reading and seems the biggest causes for that is ignition and boost leak. I don't think I have a boost leak so I am gonna replace my rotor and cap soon as well as plugs and wires.

Not VW related, but I've got headers and a full exhaust on the truck now, along with an intake. The difference is night and day when you dig into it, I love the 5.oh

Anyone need an '04 4Runner sr5 V8?
It's a dark gray metallic, with gray leather, running boards, & sunroof. (no third row) 1-owner, 90,0xx mile car with clean title in hand.
The girlfriend is looking to downsize and replace her 4runner with a new Impreza Hatch.
She found one she wants but the Dealership isn't offering much for her trade. (big shocker)
It's had 1 accident. That was in a friends driveway 3 yrs ago. She caught the edge of teh front bumper on another car backing up and had the front bumper replaced.
PS--- <3
Tires are fair, body is good, mechanical is great.

I'm down. I'm getting hitched next weekend, then honeymoon in Jamaica, but the way things are moving here it will take that long to pin down a date(I'll be back on June 3rd). I have some odds and ends that need to be worked on if someone wants to do a garage day, mainly a stop tech BBK, which should only take a few hours(and I may need a hand flushing the brake system).
