I've actually been to a restaurant in F'ville. I flew out to one of our [small] "affiliates" in springdale. I'm pretty sure it was F'ville that we stayed at, and ate at.

Google monster says "190 mi (about 3 hours 23 mins)" But by the State Patrols with the annoying really bright blue rear lights on my last pass through FS, 40E, that time from google is gonna be pretty damn accurate!

I don't roll anywhere without my radar detector but even then the road to Faytown is frought with danger and woe!

100% of State patrol out here has only used Instant On radar here. Maybe it's different in NWA?

around Little Rock I usually 'hear' them on my radar before I see 'em. I don't think they're that worried about being spotted. Even when they're using laser on the people ahead of me I hear it and slow down in enough time. I'm sure if we were in the northeast it would be a much more difficult story. That place is like MF europe!

I guess I should correct myself.... most of this was south during my commutes from Hot Springs to LR. They would hide on the 70 in secluded spots and instant on only when needed.

damn moving sucks...I've been back and forth about 4 time today. Got most of it knocked out. Going to get the bed and couches on Saturday and will be fully moved in by Sunday; which, hopefully, will be the day I can stick the cars in the garage!

Lucky you! I've been here how long now? The only time I had a car in the garage was maybe the first 3 days I had the place

Anyway, let me know if you want me to bring over the 12' painters pole. Helped a bunch when I need to double up in the back and I had already painted myself outside, lol.

So this evening I thought I lost my cell phone and the battery in it died which, in turn, made my wife panic because she couldn't get a hold wherein she sent a friend of ours to come check on me. Turns out my phone was under a piece of paper right next to the keyboard the whole time. And I fuggin looked everywhere, oiy

about that donations thing....how much do you have to donate to become a sponsor? Is it some kind of yearly donation? I was thinking about doing it just so I can get "Forum Sponsor" under my name, lol, and the sweet "VWvortex" sticker for the ride.

I'll look it up; I doubt we can buy our way out of this but maybe we can get some publicity from it.

And BTW, if the thread should have been locked earlier than BRM should have said something about it. He was posting at least once every two pages for a little while.

Just had a nice chat/vag-com session with the kid that bought our dearest jason's car. The codes came up a the following: random misfire on cylinders 1 & 4. Jason didn't you have this problem not to long back and replaced all of the plugs and plug wires
