APRIL 29 - 30!!

Last year was a huge success... 121 Volkswagen R32s at the GTG and
over 90 at the Free Track Day. The day was certainly a memorable
one. I remember many were one the fence about attending and after
seeing the photos and hearing comments about the event, they swore
not not miss it in 2007.

Well, I don't have many details now but the BIGGEST detail of all has
been confirmed so I thought it'd be best to let people know now so
that they could save the date. April 29th and 30th are the two days
you will want to make sure you're in SoCal if you own a VW R32.

I've got LOTS of planning and preparation to do as I have some new
ideas in store for this year, but those will become available as we get
closer to the actual date in 2007. Details like event sponsorship, the
World Famous SoCal R32 Raffle, whether or not it's FREE, etc... will all
be announced closer to December. Just get the time off for now.

Oh yeah, one small detail...
THIS YEAR, WE HAVE TWO TRACKS!!!

The Streets of Willow and Willow Springs International Raceway (WSIR)!!!

WSIR = the bottom half of the image... STREETS = The track in the top right quadrant

I might have to do what Jeremy did last year, simply fly out. I really have no desire to drive cross-country.

This may be the unoffical events for Friday and Saturday prior to the official events.

My wife is due with our first child on April 12th. I hope she's early and I have to come home from my March Madness trip to Chitown rather than miss this. I heard so many great things and hope I can do it. Might be a tough one, but I'll make the effort.
