    I showed this thread to my wife and she loved most pics except for the ones where the cat is shoved into confined spaces like the pic above. She feels it's cruel.

    I think you're being overly sensitive. I seriously seriously doubt that the cat couldn't just stand up, pop the lid off of that thing, and walk away.

    I always plug in USBs right the first time.

    Some of those lids are heavy and a small cat would not be able to get up.

    I understand. One of mine is nutz for shoe boxes. My partner got new shoes last week, the box is still in the living room now and the cat makes it his bed more often than not. He'll tire of it in a few weeks and the box will get thrown out. Then the process will repeat...

    This seems to be true for most cats. I really don't know why they do that.

    good luck with that... i bought my partner a leather coat last january for his birthday. our cat, Cammie, still uses it for a bed almost every day.
