      I'm tinkering with a crazy idea (countdown to MK5: T- minus 2.5 weeks )

But I was wondering if anyone knew the location of the stock horn and how much room there is to play with in there? Trying to squeeze 5 horn trumpets in there

      On the steering wheel

For real though, hook up some of them train air horns that need compressors to work, would be bad ass.. Little gti with a horn louder than a train.. haha.. only issue would be space

I need to know this... since my accident, whenever i hit the lock button, the horn doesn't go off, and also the one for the panic button...
Could it be a fuse that blew? because it worked right after the accident, and then the day i went to get all my stuff out of my car, before the body shop started working on it, i hit the lock button, and it sounded like the horn died out. Please let me know thanks!

I read on a MS3 website that they were using these Hella Supertones. It is supposed to double the decibels that a normal horn puts out. Here is the link http://www.hella.com/produktio...e.jsp

not sure but it may be a little ricey sounding, but none the less much louder without using an air compressor.

Umm.. sorry to be the party booper here, but why would you want to rice up your car doing this? To me, having a loud horn is borderline to having ground effects or big ass rear end spoiler. They are all basically *please look at me, I can't live without attention* signs.

The other one (low tone) is on the passenger side, but there isn't quite as much room as the driver's side

Two normal Horns, near the location of standard Fog Light mounting locations (left side, and right side).
One Alarm Horn, Passenger side wheel well, just for the Alarm Arming, and Alarm Sounding.
If the Alarm Horn does not sound when Locking, or when the PANIC Button is pushed, use your warranty.

I am considering the Hella Supertone (did I get that right?) Horns.
Although I've never used the stock horns.

My low tone took a poop, too. Really adds to the frustration when honking at the jackass that just cut me off.
