Thanks dude
I picked up my second wastegate today and a new throttle cable from GAP. My downpipe and upper intercooler pipe are back in AZ getting V-banded and the turbo housings are there too (elbow on compressor, heat coating on turbine/downpipe).
I should be back in FL on Thursday and I hope to get back to work on it right away I'm about 100 pics short of a full fledged build thread, so I will try to update there too

You didn't miss much except some more Tornados and a lot of rain. I just got back in town the other day myself and haven't even had time to look at the Corrado. ...either one of them.

Lee, I have the pictures you were looking for. I haven't been able to catch you on AIM so when you get a chance IM me or I can post them here.
Sorry to hear about your TDI too

I think I got most of it sorted, but I do still have a few questions so any help would be appreciated. I haven't been on aim much since I've been home... but I will be for sure when I get back to FL Thanks Jake!

I'll send them in the morning. I just went back to school today, I would have let you look for yourself if I knew you were home.

I had the manifold surfaced and I got it on the car and threw on the wastegates. I've been getting the harness straightened out a bit while I wait on my downpipe, turbo housings and upper intercooler pipe to come back. I also have some -12 fittings I am waiting on so I can complete the heatercore coolant lines and the turbo watercooling.
I think I won't have as much time to devote this coming semester since I am taking some fun classes { analysis of mechanical vibrations, fluid mechanics I, numerical analysis of modeling methods, deformation and fracture of alloys, experimental techniques in mechanics of materials }
One pic...

I kid, because I can.
Manifold sure does look good on there.

Instead of using your interweb skills to mock me, how about you go find your old vibrations tests circa 1990 and pass them along.

What turbo you running on the car?

It's a GT35R with a .68 T4 housing. It will look a bit different then shown
because the compressor housing is getting an elbow and the exhaust housing is getting coated.
Hopefully I will have it back soon

Besides your heater core will you have to relocate anything else? Can you manufacture those manifolds? I'm looking for a corrado as we speak and I want to rebuild the engine and tranny. Ideally I want just a GT35 turbos... Not set on the size of it though...

That one heatercore line is the only thing that would need to be tweaked. If you look at the line, you should be able to cut it at the core and head, turn the hoses a bit toward the drivers side, add a bit of tube, and reuse a good deal of the hose.
I believe this manifold would also need a short runner intake manifold to fit, but anybody looking for a tubular exhaust manifold probably would want to run a short runner anyway. Obviously, you would also need a t4 flanged hotside
Yes, the manifold could easily be reproduced. As I said before, I would recommend a single 44mm gate. That would also allow for a very simple, large downpipe

looks like your build is coming along nicely. Im still interested in the manifold too, but you know that, and I dont think your bro has started mass producing them yet, has he???
Ive been meaning to talk to you on AIM but I still havent installed it on my new computer..
Of all people I shouldnt be saying this, cuz im guilty of the same thing but.......take more pictures!!!!

The manifolds are built to order, like high class fast food chains
As far as the pics go, I only get motivated to take pics of cool things... I just don't think extending wires is exciting, but maybe I am wrong.
When I get my stuff back I'll have more shots of the hard parts on the car.

Any support brackets for the turbo so it doesn't crack the manifold when heated?

It's sch10 and I'm told it won't be necessary. I might get something together for my own piece of mind though.
