**** all that "no system in my car crap"! I'm 30 and still have two 12" subs in my car because of this music!!

    Gotta have the bass.

Everyone should check out the Beezy Mix from the 23rd of November on http://www.rinse.fm. There's some good stuff in there...

Nice one, he's a local dude to me and really throws down!

That Skream set is sick. When I saw him in August the last track he played was a total 70's disco soul. He verbally intro'd it with an apology

yeah his mixes are pretty wicked...ultrablack is pretty wicked too. the shift crew is killing it.

i feel you man, i 'grew out' of having a system in my car... but i desperately need it back now haha

Soon as I went from the MKIV to the MKIII, I had my audio friend swap everything over.

For some reason rolling in the dub I have to have some bass.

32 y/o and never growing up.

BTW, thanks to all of you for posting these mixes up. I'm really turning my ear to dubstep!

    I just picked up:

    1) Ital Tek - Deep Pools - 12" http://www.discogs.com/release/1165209

    2) Martyn - All I Have Is Memories / Suburbia - 12" http://www.discogs.com/release/1334633

So much more at the record store but I resisted the urge.

for me there are some parts that really bugg me about the mix. He throws in some jocky tracks here and there. Also, no real cohesion to the mix, just tracks.

Agreed some great tracks in there but WTF is up with that track in the middle with the female pop singer. And that Eastern Dub VIP is weak compared to the original.

Totally agree about the lack of cohesion of the set. It just sounds like the top 40 chart of dubstep. No thought put in to the track selection.

Yah that track threw me off a bit but if anything it added a bit of humour to an already heavy mix. It made me chuckle and go wtf?

I agree that the mix seems very drag and drop but I think that's what I like about it...... as much as I love to go on a musical journey with a DJ..... there was something refreshing about this mix that just banged them out in no real order. Is it up, is it down - nope, it's about the same, rinse and repeat some great tunes.

But that's just me. I liked it, but it's not my favorite of the last, say, dozen tunes. L-E takes the cake for that I think.......

Haha...Like 40% of the tracks are Rusko's, including the "track in the middle with the female popsinger". If everyone wasn't riding his balls about his basslines, then it wouldn't sound the same "top 40". Also a lot of those producers like 12th Planet (Infiltrata), Clipz, Marcus Visionary, Zero G, Chase & Status all came from dnb, so expect it to start going to the wayside and using the same formulas.

You have to take into consideration that he dropped nearly 70 tracks in less than 2 hours. That's averaging a track/mix like every 2 minutes or less. This mix is definitely non-stop bonkers track selections and mixing was on point. There's definitely sub-genres of dubstep, but nobody's really classifying them even though they do exist. If you're more into minimal dubstep, then this mix isn't for you. If you are into non-stop back to back double dropping crazy basslines, typical of Rusko, with a tad of reggae and grime influenced tracks then it's for you

Yeah, and I like alot of Rusko's tracks! But, as it was said above, just didn't sound like any real cohesion in the set. I guess it's also a bit of "I've got two hours on a global radio station, and I want to expose as much tunage as I can" mentality. Which I totally get.

But to hear the close of the set with those awful Clipz "clownstep" tracks probably just left a sour taste in my mouth.
