there is a weekly meet at the restop in newark (10 min from Christiana mall) but its a multi car meet. Usually you can meet atleast 1 of us there. i travel down from pa but i can tell you these guys are welcoming to noobs. just keep your eyes on this thread casue there is usually cruises set up on here atleast once a month.

and just to let you know, usually you will be the 3rd 11 there, if Mike comes out, there is always another guy there with stickers and a roof rack, but i have no clue who he is.

Point taken. That shouldn't be a problem for me. Doing burnouts to show off seems a bit ricey to me anyways.

it only dose this sometimes, and only when i first start my car and try to drive, if i stop and re start my car afew times it seems to be ok. any ideas? ( remember its an automagic) tranny fluid maybe?

Nessas jetta was acting up in kind of a similar way, then when it finally did shift it was rough as hell. For us is was the vehicle speed sensor. good luck buddy

vagcom just read that my vehicle speed sensor was bad.. how much did that run you kurt? and how much of a pain in the ass was it to fix?

unfortunatly ( or fortunatly for you ) the part is not expensive...the labor is tho...and knowing what i know now we would have done it ourselves. live and learn

Ok, understandable. I know the weather is supposed to be pretty good tonight so if anyone is gonna go just post on here and i'll check tonight at like 8. If you guys are gonna go then i'll probably make an appearance and introduce myself. Just to be clear, this is at the reststop closer to the UD campus exit right? Down past the mall exit towards maryland. Thats the only one i know of anyways.
