The decision is based on parts prices, labor and refinish time. Plus they need to account for the unknown. Then they factor in how much they can sell the car to the junk yard for to take a minimal loss. Other states total sooner than DE. They must have hit @80 % of value on the repair estimate.

Actually, they said they peg it at 75%...but the estimate vs. NADA worked out to 68%, so that's why I'm pissed, especially since I should have been paying lower premiums knowing that they'd never pay out actual replacement.

This is a fantastic show, very beer friendly, laid back atmosphere and a ton of high quality, top notch cars!!! Bring your dog, grille, beer, and sun screen!!

Gates open at 9am.

We will meet 7am at Lantana Square Shopping Center in Hockessin, DE and plan to leave by 715am. This is a non-highway cruise through Lancaster into York.

haha yeah main issues are connecting the harness to the fuse box, coolant and some tires for the new wheels. hopefully knocking the dust off of it tonight and wrench a wee bit

You might be able to see where to plug stuff into the fuse box by using a2resource.com. Not sure what year your car is but it lists CE2 which is up to 1996 I believe.

Just plug that **** in and call me when it wont crank, or just jam a 30a fuse in the connector with the thick wires. :p
