Have we figured out how the Syncro's were vin'd? Are they just vin'd as regular Passats? Is there a way to tell what Syncro # we have?

These are pics from last year. Since then, the wheels have been redone & it's a bit lower. Newer pics coming...

    Mileage 316.000km
    Sedan
Exterior/Interior Colour: Gunmetal Grey Metallic with grey interior, grey dash.
    VIN: VWKE0310NE000055
    Leather or Cloth? Heated cloth
    Heated package? Yes
    Headlight Sprayers? Nope
MFA? No. How I wish. Please sell me a setup that I can install!
    Factory Alarm? Nope
Syncro Decals? It did, now it doesn't. It will again soon, I think. Maybe.
    Rear Headrests? Yes
Sunroof? Yes, glass with tempermental power

    Goodies:
15" leCastellettes--stripped, powdercoated satin black with polished faces (more polishing to do...)
Dunlop Direzza 195/50, 15mm spacers on rear end
KW Variant 1 coilovers, VR6 strut bearing kit, new front bushings, ball joints
Brake overhaul next on the list....

SNS stage IV: chip, cam, 68mm pulley, ISV reroute, deleted silencer box, K&N open air filter, stock exhaust with Borla muffler & stock tip reattached & polished. Charger at about 30K km since last rebuild. Consistently puts out 15.5 lbs of boost. On cool evenings last fall I was hitting 17.5 lbs. She still has the stock intercooler and I know that's the weak link. I plan on a chargecooler setup hopefully soon. Then I'd like to get her on a dyno.

This used to be retro_mike's Passat. I thank him for how this thing screams, as well as the syncro & abs working properly! Due to the poor quality of the paint job I got last summer, this fall she'll be fully repainted and garaged through winter. Then I'll install the e-codes, clear corners, and hella smoked tails w/ matching heckblende I have for it in waiting. Hopefully the interior will change a bit. I need some bolsters to keep my arse in the seat through the twisties! I love that the original motor with such mileage can still keep up with some fast (in my world) cars. It's a blast to drive & I'm glad to have turned what I believe to be one of VW's most hideous models into something nice to look at. True story: Yesterday, a girl called it "sexy."

that's my old car! its probably on page one or two, iam very happy to see it in the shape its in, i took it for one last run right before Mike sold it to you, pulled real hard, he said it was going to Maine looks like it found a good home, treated me well for four years, just a little history, the car was sold to a priest and was taken to Alaska twice, then a family friend bought it, he went to school, then i bought it, unfortunately i was still in high school and didn't have the money or time to upgrade anything(only ever put in the glass sunroof), i kept it clean though and i kept the wheels, they're on my jetta now, if you ever want to sell it let me know, I'd love to own it again

the last time i saw her, with my jetta

    Boo!

I hope it is recovered unscathed. If it comes this far south, it'll be noticed.

That's amazing! I haven't been on this thread for a while. I've always wondered the history of this car. It seems far more interesting than what I had thought possible. Yes, this car screams. 17+ lbs of boost!! But best of all, the genuine sleeper effect it has.

I have converted it to a TD using an AAZ motor with an upgraded turbo. A pain in the a$$ but well worth it.

Still no word. It's gone, it'll never been seen again. It's been sent back East or possibly into the states and has been stripped. Please be on the lookout for H&R coils, Schmidt Modernline 16x7.5" and 9", ecodes, syncro setups, and a new G-lader. I'll post more specifics of each part and the G-lader serial number soon.
