So I poked into regional to check what's been going on around Baltimore and saw this... I don't really want to read 100+ pages so I thought I'd ask... I'm looking to be down that way July 14th weekend, anything happen as far as GTG's on the weekends? Hoping to get one of my Corrados together for the trip

was down for work yesterday, usually i would take 220 up through iron gate then 64/19/79...
(i live outside pittsburgh)

decided to take the "scenic route"; 311 through the jefferson nat forest. beutiful country with curvy roads made for a nice cruise. if i wasn't in the audi i'd say i had two to many wheels.

also had some RR rail 1 at montanos

311 is an awesome drive. so is 460 from Christiansburg out to i77 in wv, but that'd be a bit far south out of your way

Anybody doing anything this weekend? Rick Hubbell will probably be in town (bringing me goodies for my corrado!) and it would be cool to get some people out. Maybe meet up for dinner or something when he's in. Not sure exactly what day(s) he'll be here, but wanted to mention it.

I booked my room for Friday and Saturday night. And there are still a couple of rooms left at the Hampton Inn where I booked. A little pricey, but a MUCh nicer hotel than the other fleabags, according to the reviews.

I'm getting my growlers filled at Roanoke Railhouse on Saturday after the Salem Gun Show but since I've been here I haven't really seen any neat VWs or been around y'all. Perhaps we should change that.

Back home in Wisconsin, the locals would hang out a Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner (or any cool establishment) then burn the night away go karting, mini golfing, disc golfing, shooting, whatever... maybe we can just have a social night with a cruise after?

Also , I have 2 blocks I would like to find homes for . I got a PL 16V block with fresh IM shaft bearings ready for assembly and a 9A 16V block that needs IM shaft bearings . Cheap , as I hate throwing good things away .

Would love to get the shifter box & cables installed in the tunnel, the exhaust installed, the radiator & fans installed and the front end installed tomorrow.
